Honestly fam and this is just my gut feeling, going back to the end of the Philly game.
When the news came in that the Cowboys clinched, to me, that was the worst bit of news they could’ve gotten with the brutal 3-game stretch that would ensue.
The lack of preparation and mental acuity in Buffalo proved to me that this collection of personnel and coaches are good with the playoff birth. They’re still mentally soft and I believe they’ve semi conceded the division to Philly. Now, where I believe this group of staffs focus is, is the NFC South division. I believe, if they do not play Martin, Tyron, Hooker and if Hankins is still out, it is because they’re content and are already matchmaking to find a possible detour from facing the 49ers in the 1st or 2nd round, obviously depending on where Philly and Detroit finishes, which makes the Detroit game the most important of the 3 game stretch.
I honestly don’t think they care how they finish, as long as they avoid the 49ers and that to me is the game they’re playing.
Mike McCarthy is already back to keeping the game plans as vanilla as possible and I believe Dan Quinn too isn’t planning on doing too much to close the season out.
Just my thoughts.
Why does Rashaan Evans don't get any love. This guy can play linebacker and has had success playing the position. At least put him in on run down.

Seriously is anyone paying attention to the improvement? If this was any other team we’d be like “this team will breakthrough soon” but I get it, we not just any other team and people want instant gratification. To me that’s one of the most annoying things about this franchise is that we’re overlooking the fact that since McCarthy has been here we’ve gotten better each year. And yes the last game was a disaster but it seems to me since McCarthy took over they know how to respond to adversity
