Am I the only person that is not a Leaf fan and watches every single LFR no matter if they win or lose and that wishes that the Leafs win so that I can see the Leafs win thing that Steve does when he says “Leafs Win!”?
Man it genuinely kinda depresses me seeing how the refs are treating Fantilli. Like I’m a leafs fan but those penalties were so bs especially the embellishment one. And the fact that the reality we live in is that the refs can blatantly abuse their power and Bettman does nothing about it. Absolutely terrible for the league.

Fantilli — who btw, every time his name is mentioned I instantly start hearing the song,"Chantily Lace, with a pretty face…" — is starting to get the Bunting treatment. He is getting "Bunted"? "Buntinged"? "Bunt Bubbled"? I don't know, but it is not good for such a young player to be zeroed in by the refs. He has to stop reacting to every call, missed call, so dramatically because the camera is locked on him and his face when he does. He needs to work on his Poker Face! Good win for the Leafs! You forgot to mention the amazing no-look pass, from behind his own goal, by Jake McCabe on the AM goal! McCabe has always had tenacity, but now he's starting to show up on the score sheet regularly!!! Great job, Jake!!!! GLG! Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Austin is on pace for ~75 goals this season. Who cares about 50 in 50 he might become the first player to score more than 70 goals in a season since they introduced the award devoted to goal scoring (or Selanne and Mogilny in the 92-93 season, whichever you thinks more impressive)

I'm not a Jackets fan, but it frustrates me that young players are having vendettas held against them by the absolutely shambolic officiating crew and people both in the league and in the fanbase just justify it like it's okay. These are young players that could actually make the league more popular, but why do that when you can find a way to make the league worse than 6th choice in North America by holding grudges against young players that wonder where calls came from? Idk if the fans doing it are immature enough to think Gary Bettman is gonna give them free tickets for defending his refs' honor, but it just continues to show how the NHL can't stay out of it's own way despite having the best players they've had in a long time. No wonder there's tons of empty seats league wide now. People are just tired of all the bullshit. I don't blame 'em.

Merry Christmas to you Steve! It's still Christmas Eve and I'm watching this from the country that sees every days sunrise first. Does that make sense? ah who cares if it doesn't… I watched your last video and I agreed with you mostly, but.. I dunno man, I just get the feeling, this team, this year, is different. They seem to have more Oomph this year, more passion, more guts. So many of the top guys playing outa their skins, so many younger guys giving it everything they got. I get the feeling that a playoff run is coming this year. I haven't felt this since 1967, so I might be a bit outa practice, but I sure as hell hope I'm right!.
