Hanifin made it clear he doesn't want to play in Canada anymore. As a leafs fan am not interested in any Tanev unless he's staying and not rental player.Another player you can add on the trade block is Kardi as he mentioned he's not interested in a relationship build. But at the end of this Calgary going to asked alot for these players Picks and younger players they want retain any money
And even with signing tanev dosent have the value many pretend. I wouldnt give up anyone of real value for him.
Tanev could go to the Leafs and Sammy for Fluery or Blackwood could be a good move. Fluery has the experience. Good show Kc and Mark 👍

Conroy has been talking to Stevie Y regarding Hanafin and the deal would be Hanafin (50% retained) and Vladar to Detroit for Detroit's 2024 first Rd pick from Boston in the Bertuzzi deal, D prospect Simon Edvinsson and Daniel Sprong..Flames want D man Wallinder over Edvinsson but Stevie won't budge..
Lindholm is 💯 going to the Florida Panthers and it will be after Hanafin deal is done.. Not sure of return yet but it will happen.. Tanev will be traded at the deadline and it will be a bidding war to the end

I want the Flames to get a haul, I’m tired of being in the middle ground, feels like we’ve been there forever. Zero interest in trading with Boston, Colorado, and Toronto, as I don’t think Cgy can maximize trade potential. I am very interested in what Washington, Carolina, Winnipeg, and New Jersey have to offer. If Calgary trades two defenceman a forward, I would like to refill those spots. I would also like to trade Markstrom, I’m ready for him to move on.

If the Flames can collect #1 picks from Detroit and Colorado plus some prospects for Hanafin and Lindholm they should pull the trigger. Both deals sounds great.
Conroy said he would make a move by January if these guys aren't signed. And if Edwards approves. Coz the current Flames roster is not a Cup contender at all.
