Frank is the best guest by far
I'd love to talk more about the hosts body hair…we never seem to have time though 😛
So why would Penguins trade Guenzel ? Now if people are suggesting Pettersson is the return I'd have to just laugh in their face. Penguins have nothing to add to the pot to make the deal make sense
Crosby plz trade Myers kuzmenko and a pick for him
Id take Guentzel in a deal around Podkolzin. Canucks 2024 1st round + Podkolzin + Garldand FOR Guentzel + Ty Smith (seems to be struggling)
A Guenzel acquisition would set my loins ablaze in the best of ways.
Canucks need 1 more top 6 either replace mikheyev or partner with miller bosser.
They also need myers gone. The man is a walking pylon that takes the dumbest penalties and constantly gives away the puck. As of now the canucks imo are a second round team maybe conference final
If your not resigning Petey no point in getting Guentzel. The two wood make a great line
If the penguin decides to put guentzel up for a trade. I think Canucks have a best shot getting him.
Guentzel is almost 30. He’s also put up points with Crosby. A pylon could do that. He’s a good player, but why spend more cap money on another 30 year old? Who’s going back? Kuzmenko? A younger player?
“Zadder Off”
I’d go a first round pick, kuzmenko and maybe a lower-mid tier prospect at the most.
Would the Canucks treat Guentzel as a rental?
Pettersson has been "lights out" this season? That comes as news to me. He was on a hot streak for the first month or so, but has cooled off significantly since then. Anyone watching would tell you that he has not come close to dominating games the way the league's best players do.
Guentzel will probably cost you a 1st rounder plus a prospect, plus a $8-9mil/season extension. The Canucks don't have that type of money…
Also, I would rather the Canucks NOT be viewed as a Cup Contender so they can fly under the radar going into the playoffs(?). The best position is to have every team think the Canucks are a fluke, but just keep quietly win every game. If opposing teams want to underestimate the Canucks, they are more then welcome to do so…
Trade Kuzmenko and podkolzin for Guenzel. Canucks will become a real threat
