  1. I absolutely hate Kurashev going at Smith there. Because Smith is the bad guy if he fights him. Dudes in the NHL are taught that to "stick up for their teammates" means hugging guys who would absolutely beat the brakes off them in a fight, and it's retarded. I honestly wish Smith had beat the shit out of him so he'd learn not to do that crap.

Also, fighting after a clean hit because a kid didn't keep his head up is stupid.

  2. Clean hit, so maby people complaining that this shouldnt be in the league anymore, what your saying is there should be a weight class

  3. just some baby hit and hes out how many games 😂🤦🏽‍♂️ when i was 15 we was hitting way more deadlier than that kids good but can’t take a hit

  4. Smith had to be 'that guy' what did he expect? Anyway, he leaned into Bedards face with his shoulder? I get it good hit but the guys like 18. The fights these days with the helmets on, what the hell is even that?

  5. Mostly bedard ran into smith, smith may have lifted his shoulder a little but not in a malicious way.
Hitting is part of hockey, so not sure what the fighting is about.

  6. The entire clean hit was set up from the stupid drop pass play that caused a total mismatch in speed entering the zone.
Clean hit, good fight , case closed .

  7. Great video and coverage of this, Foligno is last of a dying breed. Who wouldn’t want this guy on their team – No one more deserving of the A on their jersey

  8. This is what I don’t understand; people complaining that the league is going soft yet there were multiple fights in this game? No matter what sport it is, if the top player gets drilled (clean or dirty) there’s going to be some type of retaliation. Players fighting after a clean hit on their star player does not indicate that the league is soft — it’s a statement move. The league will have gone soft if there is no retaliation or fighting after any massive hit. Good clean hit and a handful of scruffs throughout the game, I do not understand the complaining.

  9. Foligno always fighting guys for doing nothing wrong… I guess next time smith has to let Conor walk right down Main Street for a breakaway he even let up on the hit… and to the announcer smith is not a heavy weight in the league he's in the class below the legit heavyweights

  10. clean hit. unfortunate. Bedard is an exciting player that fans want to see play. let's hope he's back asap.

  11. Clean hit, nothing to see here except some Blackhawks that should've got instigator penalties
    Foligno is a plug

  12. Clean hit, great protection from Chicago veterans. Don't touch the money maker or you're going to have a long night. Exactly how the game should be played on both sides.

  13. Smith got his ass kicked. I’ll be sure to tip smith when he carries my groceries out of Kroger.

  14. This was far from a big hit, he skated right into it. Want all the hype , accept all aspects of the Game

  15. Clean hit. This new thing in todays NHL where guys are fighting guys for clean hits is so gay

  16. I beg to differ 34 yr old goon defencemen with no respect for rookie or game Come on fellas where the sense in this
Definately a goon play making minimum No respect .no need for it A- hole!!!! Goof🇨🇦👍😎!!

  17. As of 1-6-2023 team released statement on Bedard and Foligno
    ____________________________________________________________
    Bedard IR fractured Jaw
    Foligno IR fractured left finger
    ____________________________________________________________
No estimation on date of return

  18. Unfortunately, todays younger players no matter their skill level don’t seem to understand they are playing in the NHL and can’t skate through the middle of the ice and not expect to be hit. Very unfortunate for Bedard, hopefully he learns from it.

  19. Call me old school but you don't hit rookies! Good on his teammate for coming to his defense! This kind of behavior on the ice has to be deterred… The NHL has to lay the rules down on these unsportsmanlike plays on rookies! BTW these head shots got to go on any player PERIOD! LET'S NOT LOSE ANYMORE STAR PLAYERS TO THESE THUG PLAYS! These kinds of hits are unnecessarily and only detracts from the game! It's called a "bodycheck" for a reason, let's not forget!
