I'm happy for Berube, he's not the reason this team is as it is. He'll land somewhere else if he wants to, and the Blues are going nowhere fast. Someone else can clean up Armie's mess.

Kids who just given up or take shifts off. Kyrou and Krug are terrible. The ntc he gives our are hampering his ability. He also has a history of giving xontractsnthat haven’t been earned. Berglund, Lehtera, kyrou, binnington to name a few. He’l said he wants to retool the team but I don’t think that’s going to be possible. This is a huge step back imo

I agree 100% with you, that it's not on Craig Berube, but, it's on Doug Armstrong. He's the one who made Roster Moves. He'd been obviously of the belief that Pavel Buchneivich was A Replacement for Vladimir Tarasenko, along with other moves (I'm not knocking Pavel Buchneivich, but, I don't think that he's Vladimir Tarasenko replacement). You nailed it. Every season since the Cup Binnington's save% has gone down & goals against has gone up. A coach is only as good as his goalie.

Guess Chief should have coached them better on how when you shoot the puck, you’re supposed to hit the net and that you’ll have a better chance of scoring than just passing the puck around for two straight minutes…
Chief wasn’t the problem this is Armstrong’s fault. Your completely wrong about Binnington. His numbers are bad because the team in front of him has been horrible defensively and that’s had a massive impact on his numbers. #FireArmstrong
How do you sign quality players without giving them a no trade or no movement or modified clause?
Players quit on him. They quit on Hitch. They quit on Leo. About every 4 years or so, the management continues to let this happen. Think about the coaches the Blues have let go. Quenville, Hitchcock, and now Berube. This is on Armstrong.
I enjoyed watching the game last night, especially with Binnington's third-period disappearing act. Sad to see Berube take the hit on this, though. Hopefully he (Berube) will land with an organization that knows how to build a team better than St. Louis did.
But Armstrong gets to stay? Come on…. He is the problem. Well besides the obvious million dollar babies.
Binnington would be great if he wouldn't overchallenge every rush leaving backdoor feeds wide open. Every team knows he does this.
