  1. The Maple Leafs missing the playoffs won't happen, but I am pretty sure the rest of Canada wants it to happen badly.

  2. Nylander has more in common with Huberdeau than Reinhart, including the fact that it was the same fool (Treliving) that signed Nylander and Huberdeau to their stupid way overpriced contracts.

  3. I said this at the start of the season.
The leafs will be hard pressed to make the playoffs …
Tonight's game needs to be considered as a must win playoff game.
Better start getting the mind set happening now .

  4. Thank you @TSN for upping the sco for da Detroit Red Rings , we are the better humble city ! Jesus Name Amen

  5. Nothing could be better than seeing Canada's most overrated, overhyped team fail to make the Stanley Cup playoffs. When you haven't won a championship in over five decades, you aren't great. If you're not a Stanley Cup contender, especially with the talent Toronto has had for years, what are you if not underachievers?

  6. Slaf arrived at 6 goals by way of a netminder who fell and was then looking behind the net with Slaf wide open in front.

If that's arrival, I've essentially arrived too.

  7. Leafs are not a regular season team anymore…but that's exactly what everyone called for the last 3 years..become more of a playoff team than a regular season team…let's wait till playoff time to see

  8. Reinhart has always been a good player… was a highly touted pick when he went to Buffalo at #2… yes he's killed my hockey pools for me taking him but he's waking up in that system Florida has going for him… he's now old enough to understand the game and knows what he can do on the ice… one of the best contracts in the league. I bet Florida will work it out with Reinhart. I think he likes what is going on there… plus HOF coach

  9. Everyone said same things about tampa b4 they won cup…can't win in playoffs, got swept by Columbus

Same thing with Washington, can't win in playoffs…just like Tampa, their too good regular season team and playoffs they crumble….eventually, leafs will win cup

  10. UberDough for Tkachuk gives Flames Fans chronic nightmares… please, make the pain stop!

  11. As a Leaf fan, and I like to think a rational honest one, I thought from day 1 of this season they would be a mediocre at best club. I thought Domi and Bertuzzi based on their career stats would be mediocre at best as well. I woudn't be surprise if they don't make the playoffs and it just might be the kick in the rear this organization needs to make them aware they need to change their ways.

  12. Ask any Leaf’s fan~~~~~Is it time for a new coach?

    Probably 75% would agree.

We,The Fans, pay this organization and receive little.

  13. I said on this network last summer that the Leafs would not make the playoffs. My detractors aren’t laughing now, are they? I am still batting 1,000 after 50 years!

  14. I hope Leafs miss the playoffs. I am a fan and saying this. This could a blessing in disguise.
This maybe the one they need to reset and reconstruct their roster going forward.
Besides, I know deep down, even if they make it to the playoffs, I can't see one team they can defeat in 7game series.
    Not even Montreal.

  15. Is this the Nhls rebound of saying Slaf should be a fourth liner lol? Everyone calls it out and 2 days later you make a video saying has he arrived

  16. Bedard has more goals and points than Huberdeau. It will be interesting to see if Huberdeau can catch up to the rookie while he's out for 6-8 weeks with a broken jaw. I'm not expecting much.

  17. I received a great Christmas gift this year.
    A t-shirt that says:
    "I cheer for 2 teams.
The Montreal Canadians and whoever is playing the Leafs !"
What a joy it was to watch the Oilers come from behind to defeat the Loafs and extend their record winning streak.

  18. Doesn’t matter for the big 4 forwards in T.O. They’ve ALREADY GOTTEN PAID. There’s little incentive for them and perhaps even less for the lower paid players except they MUST put forth the effort because most of them will need to show grit and determination, hockey wise, but I wonder if this is part of the reason that they don’t stick up for each other. Matthews gets cross checked hard and goes down ! The reaction from his teammates was NOTHING. Shanahan and Dubas started this farcical path after Lou Lamorello was let go and the team is a long way from a final round appearance AGAIN…Just sayin’!!

  19. If Reinhart likes his linemates, his coach and his chances to win a cup, he should stay in Florida and not ask for much of an increase. They'll give him a raise, but there's no reason to be crazy. After seeing the Leafs and guys like Huberdeau, does anyone want to sign big contracts like that if you have any ambition to win?

  20. The league will make sure they make the playoffs, because they need the revenue from the crazy leaf fans who will pour out money to support the league. after the first round, it changes, the league made the money, and the boys can enjoy golf again. Its only the players and the fans that are saying "we are great", but you need to watch other teams play, not just one

  21. Lets see if this moron says anything when the Leafs start winning and pass detroit again my guess is not this guy has something against the leafs that's why cant take him seriously. The leafs were idle and detroit played maybe thats why derrrr lol.

  22. Some people forget that Slafkovsky is only 19 years old, he’s got all the tools to be a really good player and he’s already starting to show that. I’m excited to see what he does in the coming years

  23. Kyle Dubas took a steaming dump on this roster/salary cap. Than left it for someone else to clean up. He doesn't get enough blame/hatred.
