Great game. Bad goals on jones and too many penalties. Lots of shots by the leafs great come back from 3-0 but the Mighty Canucks are no push over. Leafs are a middle pack team up against the top team in the NHL.

The 2023/24 Vancouver Canucks are the only team since the 1984/85 Edmonton Oilers to score this many goals in their first 30 games of the season. And first team to have a quartet of players (Pettersson, JT Miller, Hughes, Boeser) in NHL history to score 25 points each in their first 23 games of the season even surpassing the 1984/85 Edmonton Oilers. That year the 84/85 Oilers went on to win the Stanley Cup. You can certainly see the similarities between both teams. Pettersson {Gretzky}, JT Miller {Messier}, Hughes {Coffey}, Hronek {Huddy}, Boeser {Kurri}, Demko {Fuhr/Moog}.

Vancouver is too physical for the leafs. Although out shot, the leafs were out played two periods. And couldn't overcome Vancouver's physical play.
If the feafs had a goalie, the nucs wouldn't stand a chance. But It is what it is .
