  1. You girls are crazy! This is going to be the 1st time the leafs are completely healthy all year.

  2. I think it's going to be Leafs in 4. They will have a fully healthy lineup, and remember they got this far, with inconsistent goaltending and a plethora of injuries. The good thing about this 24 team playoff is that it's not as biased against good teams. Namely Toronto, Tampa, Boston.

  3. The coaching might change this game keep different lines away make the home team change there idea idk

  4. Andersen has been a slow starter during his time in Toronto. It usually takes him about 20 games or so to find his groove and start playing like a top 5-10 goalie in the league. This play stoppage is not unlike a normal summer break for these players, so if Freddie comes back sluggish and not dialed in, it will give the Jackets more than enough time to blow the Leafs out of the water in this series. With the best of 5 format, even switching to Campbell after a loss or 2 will prove to be too little too late for a Leafs team that struggles to defend.
That being said, however, teams could be rusty and sloppy, as they usually are after the summer break, and even with Freddie playing sub-par, the Leafs offense could still pull off a 7-6 win or 2 to start this series, especially if the Jackets' defense has lost their late season form. I expect the play to be clumsy and frantic to start these playoffs, which could favour the Leafs. Interesting to see which of these dynamics prevail.

  5. Hey, not a bad preview. Clearly a bit biased, but good info. Don't look at Toronto's over all record, start when Sheldon Keefe took over. The record and numbers are different and much better for the leafs. Also while Columbus has been the most injured team all year… Toronto is right behind them. As of this moment you are missing Josh Anderson and Tor is missing jonsson. Frankly, Josh Anderson is a bigger loss for cbj than AJ for Tor. Leafs defence is middling, Not bottom of the Barrell. Yes they faced Boston arguably the best team in the league, but the leafs took them to 7 games both series. Don't expect Tor to be like Tampa. If you take them likely you are in for a quick end to your playoffs.

  6. One factor that most hockey experts fail to consider is the effects 4 months of training facilities closed. This will have a huge impact on most teams. Who is still in shape who is out of shape? Expect to see heroes turn to zeros, zeros turn to heroes. Many people fail to consider this into the equation. When there's a long layoff without training nor competition, I would give an edge to a team with natural talent and youth. This year it is anyone's game, and possibly the mot evenly matched playoffs in NHL history.

  7. i think this series will be close & it going to come down to freddie anderson if he keeps letting those 5 hole goals in. i really want to see torts flip out would be nice.
