Why couldn't Vancouver have traded for Tanev. He was a huge part in that run to the Finals, back in 2011.
Mike you are a good ambassador for Canadian people and hockey! I'm feeling bad for Calgary and American players not wanting to play there! Calgary is remote but a beautiful city with great people. It's all about $$$ in my opinion. Athletes have short careers and they will take the almighty buck over anything else. It is shallow and kind of gross. More to live then an extra $500,000 per year Calgary offers big money to off set. Americans are shallow have to admit.

Campbell is more than likely done in Edmonton. Goaltending is probably the hardest position to play especially because of the pressure & confidence needed to play under it imo. Seeings how he is from Michigan I could either see him traded to a American team or bought out this summer.
Oilers should move Cody Ceci & their 1st + a prospect for the Flames Rasmus Anderson imo.

The refs were so clueless in that Wild vs Canucks game that they got together after a Vancouver goal and publicly announced "after talking it over among the on ice officials we deem it a good goal." Then the war room in TO calls them up and they're like, ah no, actually the puck NEVER crossed the line, it just rolled under the net after being dislodged. C'mon bro, you can do better than that.

Toronto and Detroit had a game where they scored 17 goals combined just a couple seasons ago, but man. I don't know what Tocchet's going to have to say at the Canucks' next practice. Will there be loads of profanity or will he stay composed throughout most of practice? And does the team need a shake-up amongst the coaching staff (fire the coaching member that's in charge of the PK and bring someone else in), or do they stay the course and focus on the next game?
