  1. So far, not impressed with the Dubas plan. More like Dubious plan. Aside from the obvious knocks, Carter and Ned should haven dealt for something, anything. I imagine both of them would have been interested in chasing a cup this year. I think it’s BS that no GM would want a veteran with face-off skills or a solid back up goalie for depth. Could have fetched a 4th and a 3rd. Now we’re not gonna get anything.

  2. Big Picture…. this is a POORLY coached team that looks clueless on the ice.

  3. For Bemstrom, it’s kinda refreshing to see a guy on the pens shooting the puck at will. It’s not going in but at least he is attempting to shoot the puck instead of passing.

  4. I think the number one thing Dubas needs to do this summer (other than bring Jake back) is to bring in a player, ANY PLAYER, that will plant themselves in front of the goalie, and not freakin leave that spot. The Pens have been able to generate a ton of actual shots on goal, but if the goalie has a direct, unobstucted look at the puck, we're never going to score enough to win.

  5. Yes a pipe dream and pipes are filled with all those things that shouldn't be flushed.

  6. You're overthinking this, in my opinion. Sullivan's going to keep playing his boys. Carter's still going to get his 13 minutes a game, Puustinen will get benched if he makes the exact same mistake Letang makes, Puljujärvi will sit (because Sullivan doesn't trust anyone who's not close to retirement, except Harkins… for reasons ), etc., etc. Until I'm proven otherwise, I just don't believe Sullivan will do anything differently. But Sullivan is the coach for life, so what can we do?

  7. The Pens will not make the playoffs this year. The trade of Jake was a big mistake, he was the future to build around, Jake and Rust would have been a good start to build for the future, a trade of Malkin and Letang would have helped the pens a lot more than moving Jake. The GM is wasting Crosbys talent.

  8. Letting Sullivan finish out the season I assume because we absolutely need a new coaching staff, the time is long overdue.

  9. We have the worst coach and the worst gm in the entire nhl. Sullivan is so mental. Doesn’t even have a clue. Kyle dufus made one of if not the worst trade in franchise history. Combined, they’ve ruined the end of Crosby’s career. This team is doomed. Morons running the team

  10. We love him, he’s been great and no one wants to say it … let Sid go. Just let him go. If he wants to stay, great, but he casts a big shadow and with us getting younger let the kids figure it out. Same goes for Malkin. Letang can stay 😇

  11. I had these kinds of thoughts in 2018-19-20 about the leafs and Dubas just went and did some nonsense trading, like Kadri for Kerfoot….. or Moore for Campbell, or letting Hyman and Freddy-foundational players with experience, go.

you have thought through the building of the team more than dubas has. that's a fact. sadly.
