Powerplay looked really good, that’s a positive heading into playoffs for sure
Canucks won Vegas lost what more could you want.
Oilers remain on pace to finish with about 107-108 points (but could easily see them getting to 110 with how they are playing though). So Canucks should pretty much guarantee the division title with maybe 16 more points in the last 13 games, which is still a lot, it’s a 100-point pace. Of course that means Edmonton has to remain strong but there isn’t a lot of evidence to indicate they will slow down much. Oilers are 7-1-2 over their last 10, Canucks 6-2-2. A .500 record in the last 13 gets the team to 107 points, which would likely mean a photo finish in the division race.
That really shows you the importance of starting strong, assuming Vancouver can hold on to the Pacific lead, that strong start in October/November will have been the key.

The effort was there all night from everybody. I know I would have liked to see more Goals from the boys, but the score is very misleading. A couple of bounces and we win this game with authority
Idk why some people seemed so down about the game last night because I thought the boys looked really dominant. All four lines were clicking, it was one of Lindholm’s best games as a Canuck and the special teams play was super strong. I think the score and that flukey bounce made it look way closer than it actually was because if you look at the advanced stats the Canucks were absolutely the better team all night and credit to Devon Levi who had an unreal game and made the game look way closer than it was.
