    first goal call from mick and ken is hockey feel, mick comments about how its a nail bitter here, then goal comes off broken play. God they are so good, please god let that be the playoff turn, one good run were in, also good to see a fun awood post again.

    West Aussie wings fan here, I work at a pub over here and put replays of all the wings games on the big screen in the main bar. I've converted about 20 or so customers into wings fans, most customers have seen bits n pieces before, but none of them had ever watched a full game before.
    Now they ask me to put wings games on for them.
    This game had the pub jumping earlier.
    You should know that there's a small knot of fans here in Bunbury West Australia. 💪

    These next 5 games will determine if they make the playoffs or not. It's gonna be tough though. All 5 of the teams are playing great and the Caps are the only ones not currently in the playoffs and they are right behind the Wings.

    SHEESH People are easily realizing how good Larkin is. Like, top 10 in the league unquestionably…. people who never played, or never covered hockey or anything are too quick to just look at the simple stats and numbers. But. yeah he's good no question! This was just 1 game though… we got some luck, good and bad, some missed calls, way more penalties against us, quite frankly they didn't play great in the 3rd period lmao. Islanders missed some ridiculously easy chances, just like Detroit did vs Columbus. But they've won 3/4 now so, hopefully this is a march toward the right direction ^_^ P.S. Christian Fisher, GET THIS GUY MORE ICE TIME!

    8:21 being able to hear Larkin's scream of excitement over both the crowd and the goal horn is so awesome, can tell how much he loves playing for Detroit

    That goaltender interference call that was missed because a wings player “pushed” the islander into Reimer is bs considering the circumstances of comphers penalty…

    It is sad to see Raymond get bullied with no one to stand up for him. But it does seem to fire him up

    Such an interesting time to be a wings fan. With the slump you can see that Raymond has a definite higher ceiling as to the type of player/leader he is and can be for this team.

    And with Larkins return I believe it’s really setting himself up to turn into an absolute unit of a captain for this hockey club. Although we never wanted them to slump so badly, I believe there’s some good things coming out of it at least.

    That hit by Clutterbuck was definitely interference, having said that he gets my respect for at least making it a clean hit and not head-hunting.

    Edvisson's play this game was a major bright spot. He didnt get on the score board, but he made the plays that lead to Larkin's goal.

    Penalty on Compher made no sense, he was clearly pushed into the crease. Didn't lead to anything, thankfully, but I'm so sick of bad calls.

    This road trip has "MUST SWEEP IN REGULATION" written all over it., except for Nashville: That one can go past regulation with no repercussion.

    Going past regulation against the Caps isn't necessarily a bad thing, too. Gotta win that game, though, if it does go past regulation.

    The cheer for Larkin when the took his first shift was cool. How often does a player get a reaction like that after missing 8 games due to injury?

    I think the only thing that drove me nuts in this game was that the officials – and you clearly have them on display on them – were very NYI biased in my opinion. Like what the fuck was that JT Compher interference? Both teams played great, and I was definitely entertained.
