    The response to getting blown out is troubling. Yeah, Colorado is a great team, but where is the anger? I understand we had a number of Monsters in the lineup, but I don't know how much it would have mattered if regulars were playing. There's a comfort level to losing that is the hallmark of a team going nowhere.

    Werenski is the only one who did anything. Merzlikins played really well and still let in 6. Doesn’t help when you’re outshot 30-7 halfway through the game. MacKinnon was getting zone entries at will, like they were on the power play the whole game. Nichushkin and Toews were eating cbj alive.
