Keep up the great work Lego 👊
nucks good regular season & got Pette signed long-term but now it counts if they can make it past the first round our division is filled with Killer teams they need the killer instincts to transition in the playoffs now
YES !!!! Edmonton lost!
Put Joshua with Miller and Boeser. Then put Suter with Bleuger and Podkolzin as the checking line. and then Lafferty, Lindholm, and Mikheyev as one of the most expensive 4'th line in Canucks history at 10.75 million dollar cap hit.
Yea they did great this year. remember when we all said i just hope to get into playoffs
Same player he always was just the team decided to compete like him this year. The haters were just weak people.
It's interesting that JT Miller and Pettersson are still relatively close in points… yet JT is celebrated as having an exceptional year… whereas Pettersson is have a "could be better" type of season. Of course a lot has to do with the "eye test", with how is one playing…. but still fascinating to see the expectations we place on players.
After all these years, McDavid is still better than Panarin.
Still very nervous of Vancouver's chances of getting past the first round. With ZERO playoff experience, they could get very rattled if they lose the first game.
The opposite of disappointing is appointing. So the least disappointing team is the most uberappointing.
As Canucks fans go we hold belts in disappointment. But not this year. I have been critical of a few players but my complaints seem out of place being we really have not slipped much and get Joshua back and play stronger hockey? Could get the Presidents trophy. I was a little worried about this team, but we are really consistent in the teams work ethic. This team has as good a chance at winning it all as any team this year. Everyone is starting to play better. And Once Demko is back. Who knows?
I just realized the English language doesn't have an antiquate antonym for 'disappointing'. That is…ummm… disappointing.
Re: Most disappointing – the fact that the sharks, ducks, and blackhawks are at 0 is something else again.
Bro yaps for 9min to talk about something that could’ve been said in 1min
Can you imagine that JT Miller was part of a country club like atmosphere last year? Hughes? Pettersson? I can't either. What a crock.
Wait, I thought Jim Benning got ripped off on the JT Miller trade??? Guess those who said that are eating a LOT of crow! Oh wait… That's all of the Vancouver idiot media, big surprise? Nope! Not even close!
A year ago. Canuck fans against JT MILLER
Show your soy faces. Come on. Let’s go!
Era adjusted doesn't exist. Just bitter people that want their player to be better.
Here's why – Gretzky played in a run an gun
eraBut this was because those players were ok with smoking on the bench, drinking sodas etc. But all of them were doing it, it was the attitude of the time. Today, they're all gym rats, because they know better – BUT this also puts them all on an equal footing, the same as all the 80's guys health was for 💩So, each 'era' is competing vs their own standard vs players using the same standard in their 'era'
Ie. Yeah, I bet McDavid would be insane in the 80s, crazy good, maybe better numbers than Gretzky good – but if he were in that era, he'd be gulping sodas and smoking on the bench too – just like Gretzky would be an absolute insane gym rat today. Their performances would reflect that, totally negating any 'era' adjustment.
