I was unfortunately watching the Pens prior to this stretch. I can say confidently this team is completely un-recognizable. On saturday the broadcast commentators stated they looked like they were playing "desperate". I've watched this whole stretch of hockey for them. I think this is just who they are. They have 2 great defensman that played in Wilkes-Barre together and St. Ivany looks scary good. Smith and Rakell are playing physical hockey and Geno seems reborn. Puustinen, DOC, and Eller are bringing so much energy. They were WOEFUL all year. There wasn't a single stretch of 2 or more games they played like this. BUT, I think they will have to play incredibly hard to the very end. Making them a first round bounce. But seeing the potential is bright. Also Nedelkovic? Jarrs….youre in trouble buddy.

As a panthers fan, seeing how the guys have played without Verhaeghe and Ekblad going on a week now. Their resolve and playing up to competition they can turn it on against the top teams but doesn’t feel like they want to go playoff mode in the last regular season games

ehhh….hockey players are such effin babies. Worst thing about the sport is the constant classless behavior. Every other sport does a much better job teaching kids to lose with respect and to actually respect their opponents. Not hockey. Little princes are allowed to do whatever they want and be as emotional as they want without any parents or coaches telling them their behavior is not appropriate.
Thing that pissed me off the most was the refereeing in the Caps-Canes game. 😅 Guess they really wanted Carolina win

The Rags/Devs line brawl game was the first hockey game my gf ever watched with me. I told her it usually doesn’t go like this and she’s getting insanely spoiled that this was her first game

That "brawl" at the end of the Devils/Sens game was hardly a brawl. It was at most a chippy scuffle. Refs shut it down quickly
The point system is a joke….St Louis has more wins and pts than the teams in the east fighting for a spot….gotta fix the loser pt nonsense….time for the 3-2-1 system and the playoff format is still Garbage
