Bruins fans crying about the refs should be bottled and sold, it's so rich. Marchand is a whiny diver and that play by Reaves was peak Bruin. I loved it. They're learning how to play playoff hockey, maybe?

I stopped watching you 2 years ago after watching after every game. Surprised he isn't wearing a hab jersey. I'd imagine he's still complaining like most franchises never barely win.
I refuse to credit the hockey gods with anything related to the leafs. At this point, like society, god gets 0 credit for where the leafs have been and are headed. If we need a deity in Matthews I’ll trust.

The Bruins were the better team in the first IMO (Shot quality and hit/body placement, not shot just totals) hooking call in the second against Beecher was phantom, B's shot themselves in the foot with the bench minor(s!). B's were lucky there was no way to determine if the puck was across the line in the glove, I'm leaning 80/20 I think It was. Tavares goal was a great shot from about 15 feet away, not sure that gets stopped very often by any goalie. The Mathiews goal was a nice move, but was complimented by a terrible read by McAvoy. Steve Kinda glossed over the scrum at the end, Bert slashed Marchand, this will always be called when its blatant, from behind, and after-the fact. The baffeling call is the offsetting roughing to Coyle, looked like all he did was get roughed by Lyubshkin , who then proceeded to rough the ref also, and those offset??? Should have been a 5 on 3, I think the Leafs caught a break there unless Coyle did something egregious before he started getting roughed. I'm Looking forward to game 3, I want Nylander back because I want to beat every team at their best. In that same vein, Peeke going out (If he's out long term) is a tough for the Bruins. That said, we all know the annual Leafs fan tear harvest begins in 5 games no matter who the B's ice. GOOOOO BBBBBBBB'SSSSSSSSSSßßßßßßßßßßßßßßßZZZZZZZZ!
The saddest thing about Bertuzzi’s goal getting called back for high sticking is that if he had only missed, Matthews was also there swinging at it but from below the crossbar.

OK, second Leafs goal happened because Andrew Peeke got hurt, and Kevin Shattenkirk was forced to be on the kill…Kevin Shattenkirk should not be killing penalties in the NHL.
Good playoff win by the Leafs after such a poor showing in game one . A real trifecta; they beat Boston for the first time this year, they stopped giving up 5 goals per game and Matthews finally scored his first playoff goal.
Leafs will not beat the Bruins.

This series is ALL WIN for me. If the Leafs lose I get to watch Dangle lose his mind, and if they win I get to be happy for so many of my fellow Canadians.

Honestly; Max is the best player on the team in the playoffs. His composure, decision making, play, speaks for itself. Everyone forcing and trying too hard. Domi just out there playing hockey.
Finally someone on the internet that is cutting Mitch a break. He did make some plays and would've been on the scoresheet if the goal didn't get called back. We need to get behind our players instead of dragging them constantly. 1-1, going home.
