  1. If you don't like fighting watch basketball or badminton. These goal scorers shouldn't have to be the tough guys. Fighting is part of hockey for that reason. It just makes me sick.. Sally yanks and soft euros..

  2. bruins should of had a 5 on 3 power play after the mathews goal when coyle got punched and Marchand got slashed, but somehow coyle got a penalty also? made no sense. he literally didn't do anything? Also bruins had WAY too many men penalties but one of them was literally caused by reaves blocking geekie from getting to his bench. Regardless, bruins played like shit and deserved the loss anyways. see you for game 3.

  3. What happened to Canadian, smash mouth hockey? 🇨🇦 Gary Bettman and his corporate Nazi friends, that's what. SOFT!

  4. It’s one game. How many failures? When they make it to the finals then and only then can you talk about how you lead a team.

  5. Matthews was a monster in game 2. Domi and Matthews are a great team. PS: I'm old enough to remember when it was a penalty for players to close their hand on the puck for any reason, let alone catch a pass and throw it on the blade of their stick. That was so smooth.

  6. This was the first meaningful game I've ever seen Matthews be "that guy." If he can do it again this series, give him the "C" already (likely for next year, and if he wants it).

  7. Tavares , in my opionion, not a good captain. Tell me how is he a good captain??? On the ice he's not great, doesn't lead with example at all. No emotion , no leadership skills…..this guy and Phaneuf in the same basket….actuall, Phaneuf is most likely the WORST captain in Leaf history!!!

  8. Thanks for the hockey breakdown videos! They really are my favourite thing to watch on youtube lately 💪

  9. The Hype machine around this team is why they are the biggest failure in modern professional sports.

AM has one good playoff game and he is Jesus……

    Just be honest.
AM has been in the league long enough to show he isn't leading this team anywhere.

It's not all his fault, there really isn't much of a team to lead.

The Leafs can beat the Bruins but that's as far as they go.

Boston keeps running it back, but I think the window has honestly closed, and the only thing they have is structure and goaltending.
That's not a bad thing to have, but they are missing too much talent on lines 2/3/4.

  10. IF CONFERENCE SEEDED 1-8:
    2017: No change
2018: Beat Pittsburgh 4-2, lose to Boston 3-4
2019: Lose to NY Islanders 2-4
    2020: Lose to Boston 1-4
    2021: N/A
2022: Beat Boston 4-2, lose to Carolina 3-4
2023: Beat NY Rangers 4-3, beat New Jersey 4-3, lose to Florida 2-4 (assuming Rielly scores or Gudas doesn’t hold the stick in G5)
2024: No change from real life

  11. As an American, I am always excited when I see Matthews going full beast mode. For us to compete internationally, we need him at his best.

  12. Being a captain isn’t about being the best player, but the best leader. It helps to be the best player, but is definitely not just what you should look at when picking a captain. I think Tavares will have it for years if he keeps playing for the leafs.
