Almost as good as playoff hockey is the fan bases that go from "plan the parade" to "fire the coach" from game to game in a 7 game series.

I will forever think hellebuyck is overrated
The Jets took the second half of the game off. Sloppy passing, no offensive pressure, and making cross ice passes on the blue line with 2 avs players right there.
Can't put this all on Helly. Defense was really bad.

I get the whole “pivotal game 3” type of thing but either team that loses game 3 could win game 4 and the series would be right back to tied. I’d venture to say game 5 will determine the advantage for either team. I could see the Avs getting hot tho and just burying this jets team
It's always funny to see people go hive mind and completely miss what's actually happening; outside of a few atrocious defensive blunders and one of the worst playoff goalie performances… Colorado's been the clearly better team, carrying more of the play and creating more chances. If you watched all the series so far other than the goals in game 1, you'd swear it's 2-0 and as sure to be a quick Avs win as Rangers or Canes.
Only thing different in game 2 was Georgiev wasn't there to bail the Jets out and if goaltending is even remotely a wash (and they don't shoot themselves in the foot), it doesn't look like there's any way the Jets can slow down a considerably more potent team, which also gets last change in 3/5 last games.
People also need to start calling out Hellybuck who's given up 10 in 2 games and was similarly outplayed by an inferior goalie last year against Vegas.
Hellybuck giving up more goals than Georgiev 😂😂😂😂😂 I think Hellybuck is one of the goalies that NEVER shows up in the playoffs.
The Walker hit was a borderline slew foot. Not sure how that doesn't get called. All we ask for from the refs is some consistency.
Great response from the Avs and from Georgiev. Didn’t look phased at all either time they went down in the game and the ice just kept tilting in their favor as the game progressed. Defense wasn’t bad as a whole in game one but great to see they paid more attention to detail in game two and didn’t make the few costly mistakes the Jets made them pay on in game one. Really fun series to watch through two games and far from over although the Avs have a chance to put a stranglehold on it if they hold serve at home. And kudos to Georgiev’s teammates because I’d say it’s quite likely that when both Avs fans (myself included) and Jets fans were completely roasting him after game one, his team was helping build him back up behind the scenes.
Interested to see if the jets keep lowry on Mac. He looked exhausted at the end of last nights game and they are going to mile high where Mac is even better, Lowry might have a heart attack.
Regardless of who I am cheering for, I love when the fans try chanting at the opposition goalie and the goalie says “ok no more goals then”

Hellebuyck is the work puck handler in the NHL. He nearly lets in a goal everytime hes out of the net trying to do something stupid.
The jets are going to come out with intent to injure next game. Ref's need to be sharp.
This is all because Chevy never really addressed the defense. I mean it’s Morrissey and a bunch of scrubs and that’s not good enough. Sure he was good at addressing the forward group that’s it.
With how inconsistent Georgiev can be I feel like the series is far from over if Colorado wins the next one. Colorado can definitely out score their problems and Georgiev had a solid outing, but I don't have confidence in him doing that regularly. But I'm also wrong a lot so we'll see 😁
The Jets better get their act together, and play their defensive game, or they
likely won't win. Helle has never proven to play well in the playoffs, so start
Brossoit next game. Helle cost them 2 goals, one off the faceoff, between the
pads, and the other coming out of his net. Needs to stay in the net.
Perfetti who's been on fire in the last 6-8 games, should be "in" the lineup to
replace of Toffoli. Barron should also be in the lineup, big, very fast, with good
scoring hands.
Also Ehlers has to "wake up" and play with some heart and passion. If they do
this, they can take this series, but it will be no walk in the park — Colorado is
a very good team. From what I see now, I'll give the edge to Colorado, however
I'm a big Jets fan, ands would love to see them win this series, and I think they can.
