Jets seem to have the same problem as last year. No push back. Eichel walked them last year and Mack is doing it this year. Series is so far the same, win game 1 and then flounder the next amount of games until they hit the golf course. 8.5 mil for a player and goalie that get the yips in the playoffs. Jets must be trying to replicate the leafs in the playoffs
Avalanche fan here. To win in the playoffs you need to play gritty, almost dirty. The Avs normally do not play that way, but they can turn it on during playoffs.
As an Avs fan I am completely biased, but that being said I see the main issues for the Jets (so far) as being 1. their 1C cannot be outplayed by the Avs 2C as consistently as he has been, 2. the Lowry line "shutting down" MacK cannot be him getting 2 points a game, & 3. the Avs scoring from their blueline is unlike any other team & the Jets cannot match that without Bucky playing a hell of a lot better.
Keep giving us 30+ shots a game and the jets are toast. Period!
