Jets are very good. They just ran into the buzz saw and honestly, the most talented offense in the playoffs. Avs goalie and defense is suspect at times, but damnit they sure can score the puck.
The Jets are a great team without the depth and experience of the Avs. I don't see any team stopping the approaching Avalanche.

Avs leadership still wont say what the adversity Nichushkin faced last season, even though it involved a hooker and lots of alcohol.
Letting in 6 goals in first game should already be alarming, but Bowness just ignored the issue.
To me it looks like the Avalanche have completely figured out Rick Bownesses game structure and are just picking the jets apart.

Jets, like the leafs, just aren't a playoff team. They don't have the killer spirit. Goalie is great though. And the Jets are good during the regular season, but who cares about that.
Makar made Kale salad out the jets on that coast to coast score!😆True he got the lucky bounce but he had the god like ability to recollect the puck & drive half the rink to score! An average player would have fumbled that move. Amazing! Go Avs!
No series is ever over until it is officially done. Jets are still a good team but the Avs have been fantastic!

Now that Helly absolutely knows this team always folds come playoff time I can't imagine him putting up with it for more than one more season. On top of that, there is no way Brossoit is our back up next year. This team without their goal tending would be lucky to get 80 points in a season!!
Im an Avs fan and I want to agree with you. But I also don't want to call it a wrap. That is definitely a bad thing to do. The Jets could rebound at home. They will be tough to beat with their backs against the wall. Don't rule them out just yet. Avs need to keep the pressure and come out FLYING in Game 5

Lets face it, the Jets are #2 in the division going into the playoffs, but thats were it stopped. Now that the Avalanche found their groove it’s looking like nothing is going to stop them. After all is said and done Jets were really not the playoff contenders they thought they were, Avs have been there and watching them get to the Cup is exciting as all hell! Go Avs
