The Leafs' golfing season was unusually delayed this year, but they're back on track now.
Not only have the Leafs not won the Cup since 1967, they haven't even made the Finals. And in a lot of those years, they missed the playoffs entirely when 16 out of 21 teams qualified. Given the money behind them and the crazy fan support, they have to be considered the biggest sports failure of the past half century. Even their pre 1967 glory years occurred when there was really only serious competition from two other teams (in a 6 team league).
