The maturity of this team, the impact of Knoblauch and his ability to teach the Oilers a winning system in such a short period of time is incredible. The best team in the NHL for the better part of the 2nd half of the season and his ability to put the players in positions to succeed is the biggest upgrade to this franchise since McDavid and Draisaitl drafts. If Skinner can limit the blunders and keep his game simple , and the team can maintain composure/healthy this could be a redemption run for the organization. True belief, true buy in , true sacrifice is what this team is learning it takes to win …. as a team ! Dangerous team when everyone is pulling the rope in the same direction

Not expecting a cup this year but a finals appearance or conf final game 7 OT loss at the very least. This team is "trending in the right direction" and people simply need to be patient. We have come full circle when it comes to age in sports. It used to be old guys because they had experience, then it went young out of pure piss and vinegar and with modern medicine its not longer necessary to win before 25 or youre SOL. If the players and management can keep this team together they will be the next Tampa.
A cup final loss to the Panthers is what makes sense in the natural growth of a team, with a win next year.
