As a born & bred New Yorker, I’m biased to the bone, but there is nothing like being at a stadium, arena or ballpark of a New York team when they are winning especially during the playoffs. It’s electric & deafening.
Now I’m a die-hard Mets, Giants, Knicks & Rangers fan, but I don’t hate but will root for the Yankees, Jets, Bills, Nets, Islanders & Sabres unlike many NY fans. Many of my friends root for other NY team & I lived outside of NY for 8 years in the Army so I know what it’s like to really be in hostile territory. Of course, a Philly & Dallas fans & teams are in a whole other league of despisement of their own which is a whole other order of magnitude of malice.
Keep it going Knicks & Rangers. With all the awful crime, chaos, discord & division happening in the country, city & politics New York could use the distraction & the joy of winning to rally around. Let’s Go Knicks! Let’s Go Rangers!
