I’m old enough to remember when a guy made the td exact same hit (minus the charging) and he got thrown out for 4 playoff games. The other team DEMANDED he get thrown out, or they were going to kill him. I guess everyone was a COMPLETE PUSSY in 2020 or something.
Perfectly clean hit, looked bad from certain angles, Benns a big guy so it kinda looked like head, man, back in the day that wouldn't have even raised an eyebrow, NHL gets softer every year.

Well to me it looked like he hit the shoulder and the head at the same time. I guess it's a legal hit but still pretty dangerous.
