    Why are ppl so high on Berube?? He won a cup with a team that he joined halfway through the season. A team that was playing well and not getting the justified results until they lucked into a 4th string golaie that went on a run the 2nd half! What did he do afterwards? Didnt even make the playoffs the last 2 years.

    Babcock had elements of an old school coach, but he also has some sort of bizzarro douche thing about him as well.

    Treliving left Calgary because he wanted to fire Sutter and the owner refused to let him.

    Play hard or don't play. Nylander??? Where does that leave him. Or do we go back to Keefe's system of some guys need to play hard and some guys don't?

    It seems unlikely that Brind'Amour leaves Carolina. And again, you think he is going to tolerate Nylander's lazy play?

    They need a coach who fits the team they are expecting to have.

    Honest question here… Can someone tell me why Easton isn't playing for the leafs? Is it an age thing? Size? Why was he drafted then back to OHL

    "Players coach" is just a nice way of saying a sawft coach who lets his players walk all over him. You cant expect to go deep in the playoffs with a sawft coach.

    Understanding Bell and Rogers…. Those organizations are filled with politicians. There is NO WONDER Shanahan fits right in. Beel and Rogers will not go get the EX CHICAGO coach….Rogers and Bell are political organizations that are risk averse….. that is why they lose so much
