So so so the Keefe and Dubas WAS a complete failure told yeah
Berube won the cup as a coach and Brind'Amour won the cup as a player. It all depends what type of coaching style the Leafs are looking for. Brind'Amour style of coaching is more man on man in the defensive zone and Berube is a no nonsense direct guy with the ability to extract of what he has, either they do more or they won't play. That would have been useful this season when Marner turned invisible in the playoffs. The Leafs are also built to be more offensive minded quite the opposite to Brind'Amour's style.

Love both brindamour and berube to bad one couldn’t be the head coach the other a assistant but i will give the slightest edge to berube his style is what the leafs players need the most
After treliving hires the head coach he can let him fill out his staff while he gets going and asks Tavares and marner to wave there ntc and trade them he needs to resign bertuzzi and domi there are good UFA d men like pesce tanev and zadorov he can sign to bolster the defence

Yes, they can is a well-respected coach, even in Montreal. Remember, Maple Leaf have to make you a believer, and after a dreamer for the rebuild plan. They will never say this in public. Keith Pelley is trying to eliminate big contracts.

I love reading these blogs especially Berube being coach, he is not a fit for this group, he might be a great interim coach like he was with the blues but he gets stale fast. I like Gallant better or Joel Quinnville would be the ultimate hiring if the league would just let him back in. Shanahan already blew by not firing Keefe a year ago and the logical choice would of been Roy who took a bad Islanders team to the playoffs. Man, Patrick behind the Toronto bench would of been SWEET
