    Guerin has no plan other than self preservation. This isn't about winning the Cup It's about collecting a paycheck. Guerin said he's building towards the future. Hey Guerin, the future is NOW when you have the best player in franchise history in his prime. Also, how is spending $20,000,000 on MoJo, Freddy, BoGo, Fluery, Hartman, Zucc and Foligno "building towards the future"?

    Billy's tenure is still very much alive, and will be for at least 2 full cap years (would be my guess anyway)…those vet contracts aren't a complete deal-killer, but seriously…ripple effects are real, and it's going to be a bumpy ride folks, so hold onto your butts! I'd fully expect more turbulence, more closed door meetings, more manic highs and tragic lows. just from a fan standpoint, it's gonna be AWESOME!

    Rossi and Gus for Byfield straight up! extend him to somethin like a 6×6, move him to 2nd line center full-time, pair him up with Ohgren and Zuccy (probably?)…now you've got room for Heidt on LW, and more of a runway for Kumps & Hunter Haight to show us what they got on 4th line center (probably?). Ekker, Byfield, Khusey, 4th spot up for grabs, Freddy stays on 4th line RW and fills in center as needed.

    I dunno, this is just one thought….I do believe that if Billy can make a SOLID step forward like this, where we get bigger, faster, stronger, younger, etc…then ol' Wampa will be happy. =)

    I see the path more so now than i did especially after the extensions initially. But the 1 that has me fuming rn with worlds is mfing johansson. I have no posetive words for him and this sudden scoring. Wanna kick him right square in the nuts for it and then buy him out.

    Gus is struggling with being in shape and heres why. Bad diet = bad workouts. Good diet never translates to a bad workout. Get him on a strict diet and results will change until then trade him for whatever u can get n get the 3.7aav off the books

    Gauthier trade situations r becoming less rare, we had to trade nesterenko just a couple yrs ago also to anaheim

    This is what billy should do, absolutely trade spurgeon for a pick(s) and a prospect or acquire picks for him in this year’s draft to load up early on prospects. Trade Hartman for a 1st or 2nd rounder. Pick between zuc or moose to trade for picks or a prospect. Trade away Gus for a 2nd. Add Merrill into the convo even if it’s a late pick, do it. Keep Rossi because that’s ridiculous to trade him. Maybe try to trade Jojo for a pick if he can. For FA don’t sign Perron because that’s a waste of money. If you can get back duhaime and dewar but sign debrusk. Resign the young guys; Beckman, jones, walker, swaney, Simon Johansson, Chisholm, and shaw. Now if billy wants to be risky make a few blockbuster trades to acquire some nhl ready stars who are very good to help this team make that push into the playoffs to get kaprizov to stay and sign longterm. And with the prospects we’ll have it’ll be a faster process.
