@Oilers d'Edmonton

1. I believe the Oilers have to win in 5 or they simply won’t be able to maintain the level needed to win the series.

  2. The celebration by the oilers was amped up because they knew how close they were to blowing it and having to sit with that loss all summer. To dominate a game like that for 2 periods and lose would have been devastating

  3. It means Nothing unless they Win the Cup and it's not Given that they do. They still have to go through a Dallas team that many believe has the better Goaltending. With that said I'm going to take Oilers in 7 and I think Oilers probably Win the first game against Dallas just because I don't like when teams have long breaks. Dallas will be rusty unless they're practicing hard right now and they risk injuries doing that but at the same time it will keep them fresh. I don't know if they're doing that or paranoid about injuries and are just healing up. However, we've all seen what happens to teams that have long breaks.

  4. And I thought THIS series was fun to watch. The next one will be insane. Really don't care who wins on the East.

  5. Oilers in 5. 4 if the Oilers aren't lazy. Dallas is a nothingburger.

4.. 4!! 3rd lines aren't going to cut it. Vancouver was the toughest series as a direct rival to Edmonton.

    The rest are toast.

Joe Pavelski is like 65 years old. Wyatt Johnston on the top line?

Jamie Benn is old news. Matt Douche found a green jersey and calls it home.

The Stars are toast. Whoever thinks otherwise are completely deluded.

  6. Oilers fan. Hate to say but i worry this is over in 6 with Dallas moving on. Goaltending is a big concern.

  7. i personally wanted the canucks to win but honestly i think no matter which team won they were both getting rolled by the stars

  8. kaner has been a menace.. emotions in check, and getting things done.. lets have a shoutout for kaner oilers fans CMON

  9. Bouchard's 20 points in the first two rounds is the most by a defenceman in nhl playoff history! just insane how well hes been performing for the oilers.

    oilers in 6

  10. It's about to get super dicey for the Oilers. Stars will absolutely dominate and the joke of the McD an LD era will continue. Two of the greatest players to EVER lace them up, not to mention the supporting cast including RNH and they almost got taken out by a team that wasn't even supposed to make the playoffs. The fact the Oil don't have even ONE finals appearance, nevermind a cup is just sad.

  11. This Canucks fan has licked his wounds and is ready to jump on the Oilers bandwagon. Let’s go Oilers. Bring that cup back home.

  12. Oilers are a one line team. That one line though….daaaaamn. Stars have four lines that put up a respectable amount of points, have the better D and a better goalie. I’m excited as hell, this should be a good series.

  13. Oilers are done in 5. Dallas will make short work of their goal tending and McDonothing will get shut down and destroyed. Leaving 1 player to do all the scoring on a hot goalie. Actually…they might get swept.

  14. McDavid's reaction was a combination of being beaten by Canucks all season long, including some embarrassing losses, the stressful nature of a one-goal game 7, and the fact that his team has bought him some time to recover from his injury/illness. He hasn't looked McDavid standards at all so far, and I'm wondering if he knows that his team mates stepping up has given him the time to get back to his best for a serious test against the Stars.

  15. its because canucks focused so hard on covering mcdavid it lead his teammates to have great opportunities, of which they capitalized on.

  16. Mcdavids had something hurt all year, 60 goals to 30 but he’s so good he adjusted his game to be the first to 100 assists in over a decade 😂

  17. Canucks fans should be damn proud, hell I'm proud of them and the fanbase. What a run for them.

    Let's go Oil baby!!

  18. The Stars doesn't the firepower of the Oilers and this will be decisive factor in favor of Edmonton winning in 5-6. You can have the best goalie, but if you don't score more goals than your opponent, you will still lose (ref.: Habs with Price a few years back).

  19. They won't beat Dallas if McDavid scores 1 or 2 goals no matter how many assists! Skinner I think is a big???? But hey who knows! B a great series !

  20. I feel we haven't seen best of mcdavid yet he got another gear will show it against Dallas. Will they play gagner, will perry get a goal. Holloway for me is the X factor
