  1. I have seen the Panthers as the team to beat in the East since the middle of the season. They have scared me the most. Carolina looked manageable and beatable and the Rangers proved that. Now we will see if they can handle what I consider to be a tougher team.

  2. Florida plays with an edge is being very nice they're a dirty Carolina hurricanes team. If we don't come out play a full 60 minutes and try to match their intensity I'm concerned I don't want the Rangers to fall into the trap of playing Florida's game we're not a dirty team we have moments but we're not a dirty team. Florida's just a dirty team and they know how to conceal it well. Let's go Rangers

  3. I believe in this team let's go Rangers I already have tickets to round four game one I don't care who it's against that's how much I believe in this team that I bought the tickets already

  4. I am almost 60 years old, my teams are the NYR, NYM, NYJ, NYK… I need the Cup this year. LGR. Rooting for these team my entire life, I have seen exactly two championships that I could remember.

  5. Go Rangers 🦫🤘🏆👌🖖👍🤞💰🍩👏💪🎂🇺🇸😎
I'll never forget being at the celebration downtown in the Canyon of Hero's in 1994….yes I'm that old… let's do it again…..

  6. I think Rempe being a liability in the 3rd periods are manufactured. It's not like it's his play, it's the refs image of him and our perception of that. What I mean is, he gets called for things that aren't penalties, and in normal situations that's a bad thing, I agree; however, our PK is + for the entire playoffs right? Haven't we only let in 3 PP goals all post season, 2 to Washington and 1 to the Canes? So it's not like even being in those situations is actually detrimental to our club. And those situations are created because he actually committed an infraction. So when you look at it with autistic clarity, you might as well just let the guy play.

  7. Something I don't think Rempe gets credit for is drawing a lot of eyes and taking pressure off our top guys. A lot of the focus from opposing teams, coaches, the refs, and the fans goes to Rempe. It's one of the factors that make having him in the line up a bonus and it goes unnoticed. He's not just size and a guy who fights. He also makes his teammates play bigger and play in his shadow. It's another element to consider.

  8. The overlooked aspect of Rempe refs call more penalties, both sides, when he is on the ice. Good for Rangers PP.

  9. Florida wants chaos and grinding. Rangers need quick zone exits and speed. Florida will not be intimidated. We need skill, smart, speed and goaltending!
    LGR!!!

  10. Two things get lost in Bobs Save % this postseason.
As the game gets later, he gets better. Hes not allowing many goals in the 3rd.
Floridas defense has done a great job of blocking and limiting shots.

  11. time for the Rangers series to turn into the WWE, why? the refs will let Florida do all the shit things they're allowed to get away with. Florida would be in the penalty box for 60 min if there were 10 refs on the ice to see all of the garbage they pull

  12. It will come down to special teams and goaltending. Rangers have an edge in those areas. Panthers are undisciplined and take more penalties than any other team.

  13. Usually the first game is a little looser in a series with the two teams figuring each other out. I expect a 5-4 or 4-3 type of game tonight where the rest of the series will be lower scoring. If we score for we have a 99% chance to win with Igor.

  14. Series comes down to Chytil and Igor. If Igor is better than Bob and Chytil is back the Rangers speed and goaltending should be too much. If not, they get bullied in 6. I lean towards Rangers but it’s a coin flip.

  15. Mika said in his presser yesterday that Chytl missed 2 games because of food poisoning not concussion symptoms ……also, Laviolette said in his post game presser after game 6 with Carolina that a few of the guys were dealing with the flu during that series. I’m hoping that’s was the reason for the game 5 disaster….

  16. Boomer, just say, I'm going to watch the game at home and be more comfortable. No need to go into a long explanation about how difficult your life, work is and how people often don't understand your situation. It's not about you, Boomer.

  17. Special teams, goaltending and DEPTH get it done in the playoffs. The Panthers learned that the hard way in the Finals last year. Vegas had three lines score against them in one game; then in the next game, all four lines scored. Depth is hard to counter when a team has only one or two lines rolling.

  18. They said the same thing about the Carolina power play, but the Rangers PK stood strong.

  19. Rangers were able to beat caps and canes because of goletanding. Panthers have a lot better goalie so I don't think it's going to be easy. Canes could not get it in and they knew their downfall is the goalie so they could not push offense as much as they wanted to.

  20. The Rangers may not win this series but I still felt Carolina was the showdown series just based on familiarity and the prior seven gamer two years ago. Carolina was also the odds on favorite, and rightfully so. But I guess it's the next that's always the best.
