  1. Marner to Nashville for Saros makes so much sense for both teams. Its up to if Marner would go to Nashville…

  2. No coach in over 40 years has won a cup with two different teams. RIP Leafs for the next 5 years and through another rebuild

  3. Dangle. I only discovered you in the last few weeks. Love your passion for the game and the entertaining way you present your thoughts and theories. Looking forward to your future videos.

  4. I would rather have someone who is new in Leaf management just acknowledge and say "Yeah, I've seen this team suck and blow it year after year from afar. I'm here to put a stop to that mind set and change the track record". Instead of sugar coating and all this fluff. Hopefully something changes.

  5. Oh. So we are going to just pretend those other years and all that damage and trauma didn’t happen. 😂😂😂😂😂
Is that the official Leaf propaganda strategy? Sounds like it.

  6. putting lipstick on a pig. Berube can't manufacture heart or toughness. It's either there or it's not.

  7. Steve, you’re not selling out on us are you ? Shanahan looks so relaxed …we will see after next year 🤬🤬🤬🤬
Shanahan should be putting his stuff in a box, not telling jokes and stories at a Leafs press conference.
Easy prediction : nothing will change as long as Shanahan is there. Hopefully they’re just waiting for the new coach to get his footing before firing him.

  8. I don't think that there will be that much of a problem convincing Mitch to accept a trade; it's just that since he is in the driver's seat, I don't see much coming back. It is like when a player will only accept a trade to one team, why would that team give up anything of value? Especially when all they have to do is wait until next season and then they get him for nothing. I also don't think he will sign an 8 year extension; just like his pal Auston, he will sign for 3 or 4 years (since the cap is most likely to dramatically increase). One thing I will say right now out loud, the Leafs DO NOT want to take back any bad contracts, especially if they have any term.

  9. C'mon Steve, you and I both know Mitch needs to pull a Houdini out of Toronto (Just like he did in the playoffs). No one likes him, he's gonna be even MORE expencive (Still can't figure out why a 27 year old needs their father for contract advice. Isn't that the agents job?) if they try to sign him AND he has that no move clause. Good Luck Leaf Nation.

  10. I can't imagine Berube doing anything different with the present team. Ask yourself, How many Leafs games have started with the announcer saying, Keefe has changed the lineup tonight. There can"t be anymore combinations, can there? Heads will roll, so to speak BEFORE July 1. Who would have thought we would have Steve Dangle in the middle of May. Oh, sorry. That:s 1000:s of Leafs fans.

  11. Let's see, shall we?
    1) Nielsen…too flaky
    2) Quinn…too old school
    3)Babcock….taskmaster
    4) Keefe…too nice

How soon will it take for Toronto media and fans to handicap and judge Berube….too "farmyard" ?

  12. when asked about trade talks,
trots goes “oh yeah” and he shakes his head alot more than normal almost like a lie / nervous twitch. when asked any other questions he dose not start with “Oh yeah”

not the same but if you watch integration for homicide , something to look for in lying is
clearing of throat, change of speed in voice stammer/stuttering or over offering information pretty sure he ticked all those boxes

  13. Marner to Utah. Utah has the picks a whole lot of cap space and are looking to make big splash coming out of the gate.

  14. I really don't get it you got 4 players eating up the cap …Quit crying about it , first you got 3 of the-4 that have some kind of no movement clause……..You have to convince each one to go if you can ?? Then it becomes how much are we losing here because any one of them you just might be eating some of their salary ?? Now that leaves Willy Wonka a trade with him is gonna hurt But here is a guy earning top money that veers away from any physical contact….I wouldn't want to be earning say any base pay & fighting for a guy earning 9 mil t who won't battle in the corners !!

  15. As an oilers fan wow I can’t believe they haven’t moved this team yet they are the san jose sharks always do decent in regular season and blow in playoffs core can’t play real hockey Tavares is junk marner would be on a 3 rd line nylander is a joke Austin Mathew’s might as well goto Arizona there start over burn that house down there’s nothing left to build off of this leafs team is actual junk ya they have no character Beeube is past his prime good luck teams are getting better and y’all just staying good luck with that this team is flawed at its core y’all will keep hurting this team will never have playoff success it takes 16 to win the cup y’all can’t even get to 5 long way to go Florida rangers hurricanes bruins y’all will never beat those teams

  16. Laviolette and Berube have already won a Cup. Who will be the next to do it with two different teams? Why is it so rare?

  17. I don’t see Mitch waving his no movement, put yourself in his position. You’re playing for the team you grew up watching, living your dream. Your family is here, just got married so most likely planning on starting a family. I know if I was him I wouldn’t waive it and I don’t blame him

  18. Hey Steve, question? No one has really mentioned it b/c Berube's name came up so quick and I didn't really hear any rumblings about anyone else that the Leaf's may have considered? Who else do you think (if they were available at the time) would have made a "better" bench-boss rather than Craig Berube? I know it's a loaded question b/c the man hasn't done anything yet (where the Leaf's are considered) but were there others? And now that we know Keefe has been signed on as the coach for the Devils? I mean holy mackinaw! Was that not fast? Not less than 2 wks as a fired coach of the Leaf's and BOOM! He's now the head coach for New Jersey. One would think that "talks, whispers, emails etc…" were passed back and forth BEFORE his being let go from Toronto – NO?

  19. 10m in toronto is not the same as 10m in nashville, and if cares about money he'll prob pick one of those states
