    Calgary 9th pick, Anderson to Columbus for the 4th and a 3rd round pick or 4th and that goalie Mez for the salary dump. With Markstrom being traded shortly after

    As a sharks fan…. I'm totally fine with your #14 pick. We've got the forwards, we need to shore up our defense.

    I'll be at the draft event and know the sharks fans are gonna go crazy if that's who we get at #14 (the consensus with the fans is that we'll have to trade a few picks to get a d-man at 10/11)

    Re: Iginla: as Brady Tkachuk has once again demonstrated, pedigree is worth serious consideration. Iginla will be a top 10 pick.
    Re: Habs picking at #5: I was thinking of Lindstrom too BUT if there's a top flight winger available at #5 I'm leaning towards going for a scoring winger. Habs could pull off a blockbuster trade with the #5 pick and one of their young "D".

    Button never said Helenius would go 3. You guys are all misinterpteting his list. He didnt do a mock DRAFT, He did a futur projection list. He thinks that in 5 years, Helenius will be a #1 Center and that hell be one of the best player from this draft. Theres a big difference between a mock draft and a projection list.

    Greentree doesnt go before Eisermann, Sennecke. Silayev… ect.. All and all Greentree is the only one that shouldnt be there

    IF Chicago does pick Demidov do the Ducks swap with the Canadians so the Habs can secure Lindstrom and the Ducks pick Levshunov or Silayev. What would the price be for the Habs to do that?

    I doubt strongly Demidov goes 2nd and Columbus will take Cayden Lidstrom

    I can't see NJ passing on Silayev if he's on the board for them, he'd be the perfect partner for Hughes. They could have a top 4 of Silayev/Hughes and Bahl/Nemec for 10+ years with two 6'7" DFD and two elite puck moving Dman.
