Regarding the scrum between the Rangers and Panthers, I don’t understand the talking out of both sides of his mouth from Steve. Last episode he talked about how hockey is going backwards and becoming more barbaric, much to his chagrin, and then this episode he’s complaining about a pretty blatant roughing call being called against Gustafsson. One that I’ve seen Rangers fans on Twitter complain about, not because it shouldn’t have been a penalty (it should have), but because Gustafsson reacted and took the penalty when they could have had a 5 on 3. Even Rangers fans agree that him steamrolling Mikkola into the boards to the point where he ends up on his ass is roughing. Do we want the rules being called or do we want to keep spiraling into the lawless hockey that you say we are Steve?

Gary Bettman has handicapped Canadian franchises for decades with the salary cap. And he's used the refs to award cups to newer &/or weaker franchises in the south.

In a discussion about top coaches in the league right now, I'm not sure how you can leave Andrew Brunette out. He starts as a replacement in Florida and goes on to win the President's trophy. He leaves and Florida barely squeaks in as a playoff team, goes to New Jersey and takes a number four lottery team, turns them into a number two in the entire league, leaves Jersey, they fall back into a lottery team. Goes to Nashville who is expected to be bottom middle of the division and gets them in as the number one wild card and gets an Adams nomination for it as well. So clearly he needs to be on an extremely short list of anybody that we're talking about as a top coach in the league right now.
And then Dallas came out and got absolutely crushed from start to finish😂😂

For Adam's disbelief that coaches are still willing to ally themselves with a person who says and does awful things, I'd like to introduce him to the entire Donald Trump voter base.
The thing that pisses ppl off about Nurse is, you get him p!ssed off enough? He turns into an animal, crushing hits, moving the puck with speed, and being an offensive threat. But then, there are the other 80 games every year.

No Knoblauch love for top coach? Don’t think he is top 5 (yet at least) but could’ve at least gotten a shoutout. Completely changed team defense, PK, and overall success for Oilers this year. Not even a playoff team without him.

I loved the Game 4 Oilers-Stars stream. Lots of fun energy and clearly was well received. At the end, we had a 850 member audience or there abouts and still got to 600 likes to get a Jesse appearance.
I haven’t watched the Eastern conference as closely as the West. What are the flaws in the Panthers? I’ve watched every game (just not as glued to the screen) and I don’t really see any clear flaws in the Panthers. Rangers have plenty of flaws. So do the Stars. And Oilers definitely have flaws too (goalie the most glaring but individual defensive miscues and poor d man pairings definitely can show up too). Any Panther fans want to tell me what they see as their team’s flaws?
It makes sense for PWHL to play in summer. In general, summer is dead for all sports but baseball. None of the other big 5 male sports are in season. If WNBA capitalizes on its popularity with Clark and PWHL moves to summer, it would provide more sports to watch during this time.
Regarding October start, I will also say that I don’t really start paying attention to hockey until WS is over. NFL is a once a weekly commitment that I don’t follow nearly as closely as I once did. So I wouldn’t be watching that closely for the first month of the season. But I do think there is a lot of sense in starting the season early.

Honestly It must've been terrible for Mitch because its also from Bozak and Kadri's VIEW (maybe) "WHO the eff (and they didnt say eff) does this kid think he is? We've been on this dog poop team for YEARS! Shut the eff up rookie." Seriously both Kadri and Bozak were on the 09-10 Leafs team and became regulars in 2011 with a stint with the Marlies for Kadri.
