  1. Yankees are annoying this year
The Mets are a bad reality show come to life

    The Rangers…..Hold my Beer

    94,94,94,94

  2. I'm sick of hearing the same shit every year win a fucking cup already this is worse then last year they had to team to do it this year I dunno what's he's talking about. Always the bridesmaid never the bride typical miserable franchise

  3. Coming a panthers fan.

    Mika needs to go
    Trouba does as well

Keep Kreider and potentially panarin unless you can get a haul

But trouba missive liability and Miller may be better suited with more experience D.

    They need to be tougher.

  4. It's the same song and dance with the Rangers every playoffs. They are not physical enough. They Continue to skate up hill. Opponents constantly in Rangers zone. They don't score. PK Suban was very critical, yet correct about Rangers lack of aggression. Rangers wasted years under King Henry. They are doing the same with Igor. It is rare to have back to back really good goalies. Rangers keep failing these goalies. Their last coach was fired because of this very same thing we just saw. Can we now admit that coaching is not the issue? They don't have the players to get to Stanley Cup. Just the goalie.

  5. Start with moving on from Panarin, Trouba, Kakko, and others who didn’t perform in the playoffs and replace them with upgrades at the positions of need that we have. Drury has 1 more shot, IMO

  6. 1 Cup in 84 years and it’s the only one of their 4 Cups that was won with more than 6 teams in the league and the beat goes on 🤣🤣

They played a cupcake Washington in Round 1 and Carolina’s goaltending is subpar. Granted you only play the teams that are put in front of you but an AHL team could’ve beat the capitals. The Panthers were here last year, they are a team on a mission, and even when they got down in the series, they found a way to win three straight.

  7. Bunch of softy euro trash players and undersized defenceman fox and lundgren 1 pair shut down pair give me a fucking break

  8. Fancy hockey works very well in the reg season.

On the road to the Cup you will inevitably run into a tough team(s) that will take all that wonderful time and space away and expose you. That is when you realize what you're actually working with.

  9. Whay a typical Ranger homer take. Devils > Rangers last year. They were lucky they took that series to 7 last year.

  10. Anything to not talk about the Yankees. These two dumbasses keep trying their hardest to not talk about how good the Yankees are. But they wanna keep talking about a non major sport smh

  11. Florida was the better team in this series. We have cap space to be flexible this season. Drury is facing a pivotal moment in his tenure. We need to find a way to get players that can play more of a grinder style and create more space for our stars. I do not think that this team is that far off from getting over the hump(which could be a bad thing). I’m excited for next year LGR!

  12. Mika Zibanejad has six years guaranteed and you can’t move him with no trade. Panarin has 4 yrs and no trade. Kreider has 2 years. Same with Trouba.

  13. What going on in Florida? I mean the 🐱 are in the final the heat make the final last year now Messi and inter Miami are simply the best team in the MLS . Maybe on a pace for 70-80 points season and supporters shield

  14. The Rangers are not built for the playoffs….where was Panarin…. he's a boy amongst men…. Zebanajade is physically weak….. he's a weakling…..did anyone see him make a check…..he was pushed all over the ice…..

  15. The problem isn't with any one player like Zibanejad or Trouba, though they, especially Trouba, had some serious issues. The problem is that for every player like that, there isn't any other player that balances them out. They are a quick team, that gets a lot of rushes, makes passes, and scores nice goals. They take advantage of their talent on special teams. But there needs to be some size. There needs to be better playmakers for the scorers. Panarin, Zab, Kreider, and Lafreniere need some people that bring it all together. More people like Fox, not necessarily defensemen, that can quartetback this whole thing. Florida played better as a team. The Rangers get individual blaming because it looks like a disrupted unit, with different, skilled, and capable guys trying to get it done almost in an improvised fashion. And they don't deal well when their flow is disrupted. So more size, physicality, and complementary players that balance out the skill, with smart gameplay. Someone like a Messier, who doesn't necessarily get Messier numbers in terms of scoring.

  16. Its not Trouba, or Kreider, or Z man, or Fox…its the whole NYR organization & team make-up & team culture, going way back to 1926 the NYR have never put a consistent "tough" team, they always went after skilled players not realizing or always ignoring you need "some" tough abrasive players to win in the playoffs. With the series with FLA i did not see 1 single hard cross-check to the back or head of Tkachuk or Bennett even if it costs them a penalty or two you are sending a message to the other team. There was no sticking up for Shesterkin when he was being harassed by all the Fla players. Whats worse is players like Kreider & Miller who are built like stone walls rarely use their bodies for hard bone crushing hits, its almost as if they are too humble or shy to use that aspect of the game. Also getting Wennberg & Roslovic at trade deadline was worthless & Kakko is a compleat bust, how they keep playing him is beyond me…Rempe with his limited ice time was more of an offensive threat than kakko was or ever will be,,,,get rid of him pleaseeeee.

  17. Trouba is a joke, but we already knew that. Mika and Artemi should be ashamed of themselves. Complete no show when it mattered. Didn't help that Drury picked up trash at the trade deadline

  18. Kappo Kakko and Trouba are gone. Watch how well this team plays with them gone and a solid bottom 6 defensemen and signing a top right winger.

  19. I’m tired of hearing if it wasn’t for Igor this would have been over in 4. He’s a part of the team. It’s like saying if wasn’t for Brady the Pats wouldn’t have won all those Titles. If it it wasn’t for Gretzky they wouldn’t have won 4 cups. They are part of the makeup of the team. Makes no sense to keep saying that.

  20. Rangers, knicks, jets, mets. These franchises don't win. We rely on winning franchises like the Yankees. And in some ways we rely on the giants….and the Islanders because of their 4 cups!

  21. Front the drop if the puck in the first game, it was evident the Rangers are not in their class. When you have big physical players against them, you cannot compete. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just wishing. Wishing don’t get it done. They are built for a hockey season, not the grind of the playoffs. Especially deep into the playoffs. Their drafting needs help. Period.Grinders, role players, with size. Not only scoring potential. Bulk of your team should be grinders that punish and do the dirty work. They are severely lacking in that dept. Love the kid. Rempe, but that’s isn’t the answer. Nice to have him for certain situations and games, but Rangers need a small rebuild.

  22. You cannot change Igor’s contract now. You have to let his last year play out by rule of the NHL. The rangers are able to talk contract extension with him I think January 1st, 2025

  23. Bare with me if you will.
3 of the 4 cups the Rangers have won in their storied franchise were before the end of WWII when you had to win only 2 series to get the job done in a 6 teams league.
Since then they won just one and the silver lining is that it's one of the most memorable in NHL history for good reasons. In 1994 they found a way NOT TO BLOW IT but they almost did. If not for the leadership of Mark Messier at the time we would be talking about a Red Sox or Cubs kind of drought. At least the NHL 54 years record without a championship which was "owned" by New-York has been broken by Toronto (57 years and counting) and a couple of teams are chasing it like Vancouver and Buffalo. 😉
In 1974 I became a Rangers fan thinking in my young and gullible mind that my team would win the cup many times only to realize that winning the Stanley Cup is a matter of "destiny" more than anything else.
In other words, the stars need to be aligned for that to happen.
And who controls that? Not me, that I can tell you.
This year I thought they were because of the 4 wins in OT, the spectacular performance of Chris Kreider in Carolina, Shesterkin's outstanding play all around, Trocheck's poise, the arrival of Lafrenière, Goodrow's timely goals, etc. But no, not yet, not this year…again. 🙁
The New-York Rangers always find a way to disappoint, except in 1994 and when the NHL was a totally different league.
At least the Yankees seem to have something special cooking this year, so there is hope for Gotham City. 🙂
This season I tried to see if the stars were aligned for the Rangers and watching the standings I thought to myself, hummm! Maybe a final between New-York and Vancouver, 1994 vs 2024 (sounded great), Laviolette's influence, the best goalie in Shesterkin, the quarter back in Fox on defense (overwhelmed a bit in this year playoffs), one of the best PP and PK in the league, no serious injuries to the core players (apparently), the arrival of Lafrenière, Rempe's as a joker (needs to learn how to time his hits though, hitting the boards gets you nowhere), Trocheck and Goodrow's impact, the return of Chytil, and Panarin (of course but of course not), etc.
But frankly, nothing seems to be enough to get them to the "promised land".
So, I bet on the alignment of the stars yet again. Next possibility, they win it for their 100th anniversary in 2026. 😉

  24. The Panthers won the presidents cup and that off season trade Hubberdeau the top score and Weegar thier top scoring D man . Why ? Beacuse they were not built to win a cup. The Rangers have been trying to hide certain issues for a long time. No first line right wing and the fact that they could ususally out score teams but have had issues with heavy teams all the time. They have a bunch of soft players and to be honest to many soft players. You can have some. Not everyone can bang and hit but Rangers have way to many of these type of players. They need to change the mix.
