I’m trying to understand your thinking on not trading Robertson. Sounds like yes, it worked out for the player but not the team. If we keep Robertson and he does well and then just leaves as a free agent that doesn’t help us…??
Robertson is an asset and should be traded now or by deadline.

He’s a 4th liner worth a 5th round pick we paid way to much for 6 mins a night terrible trade / player
he wasn't anything to boast about here in Minny, but can make decent plays on occasion and has speed. if there's one thing you should know about Dewey- he is truly incapable of scoring on breakaways. i say this because he had at least 10 opportunities to do so this past season. don't get your hopes up if it happens.

To be honest Toronto is a little lucky nobody offer sheeted Connor Dewar. An offer sheet under 1.5 M doesn't require any draft pick compensation. If anotther team had come in and offered 1.4 M for 2 years (that was the projected contract for him) it would have been uncomfortable for them to match it.
