I have been saying not to panic with asky. Hes still got his shot 100% agree with yall on that. I fully believe that trotz is keeping a close eye on him and if hes ready he will get his shot. Then if it plays out like the potential has, we could be looking at the next swayman ullmark situation.
I also agree with your take on Asky, the worst thing you can do to a goalie prospect is put him in the NHL before he is ready. I do have a question with the Predators; with no end in sight to the Comcast/Bally’s dispute and the season less then 3 months away have either of you heard any talk of the team 1. Opting out with Bally’s like Dallas did 2. Asking the NHL to lift the blackout restrictions on ESPN+ 3. Some other option for fans to watch games. I think with the additions and the hype the team will have more nationally televised games this season and I’m not will to pay Bally’s $20 a month to watch the Preds road game (I’m a season ticket holder)

Askarov may have lost his starters net but he won it right back in the next series.
I know if Askarov is traded it's going be get us a really attractive return but I really hope he is willing to stay until it's his time to shine. I want this dude in Nashville, he will be our next in the line of legendary goalies here he just needs a little patience, which is obviously going to be difficult for someone in his shoes, but I think the coaching and culture around him here will help ensure he is the best Askarov he can be and really hope he thinks so too

The Mitch Korn signing is significant. It shows the Preds want to develop Askarov so he can reach his full potential. The goalie coach can also help Saros, who is known for slow starts at the beginning of the schedule.
Once again, good show today! Stamkos fan here, tune in everyday to catch up on my new team! Tampa made Vasilevsky get seasoned, worked out well for them. Generational goalies are rare finds, it seems plenty of other assets in pipeline if wanted to do a trade deadline move, just my thoughts…
