NYI, No Playoffs For You, Sabres Spot 🔥 📚📖 it
I like the Duclair signing, term and AAV are good. I know this sounds bad, but with him he makes that first line the most talented first line I ever seen as an Isles fan my entire life.
Tsyplakov is intriguing, had over 30 goals in the KHL. If he can be an impact top 6 player, that significantly improves the Isles outlook. It forces Lee down in the lineup and gives them a young ish shooter in the top 6.
The draft I thought was a B+ grade. Eiserman was a phenomenal pick and I was happy that they made the pick and didn’t trade it, he has top 6 forward potential a 40 – 45 goal scorer upside. Pulkkinen is very interesting. I see his ultimate ceiling as a number 3 defenseman, but his floor is a 5th defenseman.
I think if everything works out for them, they could get third in the metro but they will more likely be competing for the second wildcard spot.
I’m hoping that they start the transition, trade Nelson and Palmeri and get a TON of draft picks and prospects back. Get rid of JGP if you can.
Yes they will make it.
