Demko is done: serious injuries to goalie-necessary parts of the body like groin and knees will make him tentative and cautious just enough to dull his edge. Hope I’m wrong but have seen the same types of injuries push top goalies out.

i think, with two fresh years, podz doesn’t become a scorer, but comes into his own as a power forward going for hits and being more physical in our bottom six.
after multiple coaching changes and an injury that left him convulsing in abbotsford last year, the new contract to me means mgmt wants to believe in him.
maybe it’s coping, but i think he’s got a good shot this year if camp goes well
