   Re: Yakapov: will miracles never cease!!! Gotta give the guy credit for wanting to throw himself back into the lion's den after his initial foray in the NHL ended so poorly. Heck! Why not. Some team will give him a PTO and maybe he'll earn a 3rd line role somewhere.
   Re: Demidov: the answer re: if the VHL is better for his development…the answer to that Q is NO!!! This kid should be playing in N. America ASAP in readiness for move to Habs/Rocket.
   Re: Islanders: agreed….other teams in the division got better and Isles did jack diddly!!! I predict Isle will NOT make playoffs this season.
   Re: Robertson: kid's got talent and he'll waste away in TO!!! If I was him I'd want a trade to a team where he'd get ice time as a top 6 "F".

   He can't be loaned to another team. The KHL has a rule preventing loans on the last year of a contract, which is the case with Demidov. Michkov wasn't in the final year of his contract last year. They just decided to release him 2 years early.
   Chances are the coach said that because they're still trying to pressure him to re-sign with SKA.
   In the sane world, you try to make a please a player when attempting to re-sign him. Not in Russia. They'll do everything they can to make it unpleasant, hinting things could be so much better if they re-signed. This strategy has worked a total of 0 times with young Russian stars which all play here if they can.
   Once they see Demidov isn't going to cave, I wouldn't be surprised they release him mid-year.

   Yakupov could be looking at being conscripted into the army if he doesn't play in N.A.

    Demidov can’t get loaned with only one year left on his khl contract .

    Demidov cannot be loaned as Michkov was since he only has 1 yr left on his contract. He either plays for SKA or down in the VHL.

    The Isles need to move on from Martin and Clutterbuck they are both very fragile especially Martin. They are slow and holding guys back so it's time to see what the kids can do.
