In regular season, how the empty net goal is scored matters & how the puck is let go after the buzzer matters. Now scoring in an empty net upsets players. He clearly slashed him 3 times before the empty net goal. That wasn't enough?

Martin is awesome. I can't wait to see the Rangers BEAT the Canes, physically and on the scoreboard. Rempe is going to run amok on that soft team. Canes suck!
Isles just arent built for playoffs. They never have been. They had a great run in the Mike Bossy era and thats it. They hired Barry Trotz to help turn things around, he did, but no cigar so he left to pursue bigger better things and Isles are left back to square 1. PENS wouldve been WAY better competition to have in playoffs, they got depth skills n experience. But they had their run and with a very sluggish start to the season along with injuries, it did too much damage for their chances, their SC run is over as well. Canes vs Oilers part deux svp
Romanov couldve saved that goal, he played lazy style hockey (just like in Montreal), and used his stick instead of diving down to giving 100% effort to minimize chance of goal.
