  1. Of course if it was Kent Huges, he would have got Crosby, Letang and a first rounder thrown in right? McPhoney may turn out to be a great player for the Pens, maybe he won't. It's a fair trade considering Mr. Primadonna tanked his value by hissy fitting about where he would play. I'll take a talented Western Canadian in the Center position over this entitled over-hyped baby that demands a line-up spot despite never playing an NHL game. Good Riddance and welcome aboard Brayden Yager.

  2. Stop trolling. The 2023 Draft was head and shoulders above 2022. Slavkovsky and Wright? vs. Bedard? Are you kidding? McGroarty was projected to be much later in first round in 2022 with the biggest issue being his big lead feet and lack of mobility. He did fine at Michigan but also played with a lot of top 10 draft players. I've seen him in person and watched some of his games . He can be invisible a lot of the time. He goes in front and gets the garbage. His shot is not amazing.- not a play driver. Yaeger has been very good and noticeable on Team Canada. He's played Centre a position the Jets need more depth at. He's a great skater, can carry the puck and he's durable – playing 80 + WHL games from Moose Jaw where road trips are crazy long is no joke. And he likely won't whine like a spoiled child about ice time or the weather. So it's a win for Winnipeg because it's in the name.

  3. Obviously the Rangers just simply passed on him why when the trade was of such low value because we need as many young centers as we can get

  4. A Western Canadian kid who won Rookie of the year, scores like mad, nice moves, etc… etc… Even "IF" McGrumpy signed an ELC in WPG, he may or may not have got onto the roster in 3 years and after that, he would have NOT re-signed. So, the Jets get a Center, who scores, playmakes and leads with personality and skill. Yager is a MUCH better option for WPG. Player v. Player, not a big difference overall. WPG wins this trade by getting a player that is more suited to the team, etc. Give me a talented center who will re-sign in WPG who is a character player. "alright guy…" Oh Lego. You really need to watch Yager play.

  5. With Moose Jaw, it was Mateychuk and that defenseman belongs to Columbus, along with Svozil and various others.

  6. Who on Pittsburgh is of similar age to McGroarty for him to talk to? nobody. Everybody else is senior citizen.

  7. Absolutely brutal take dude lol jet’s couldn’t have done any better. Do you know how leverage works?

  8. Not gonna lie your vids are usually good but you just got so many facts wrong in this video

  9. Your underwhelmed by Brayden Yager? He's a high end centre prospect that the Jets didn't have, his numbers in the WHL were fantastic. You don't have a clue what your talking about and your pumping out alot more crap like this lately.

  10. As a Pens fan I've watched alot of Yager videos on the TUBE and he is excellent in the highlights. Yager was my hope. FUTURE DANGER WARNING! When Sid and Geno retire who are going to be Rutger McGroarty's centers? That is when he will demand a trade from a rebuilding basement cellar team with no hope. That is when the Pens will need a new center like Yager who is perfectly timed and was on track to enter the organization when 87/71 retire. Let's watch and see. Hopefully RM rips it up for the Pens.

  11. This was a terrible video, and I genuinely enjoy your content. You can’t be speaking on these prospects when I can clearly tell you’re just reading stat lines, with all due respect.

  12. Honestly I thought Winnipeg did better out of this than I thought they would. They have a player a year behind but of comparable value.

  13. Yager has more upside and potential be a top 6 center maybe a low #1.
And will be on World Juniors with Barlow this year.

Mcgroarty has bad foot speed he is signed now will most likely get top6/top9 playing time looks with
    Rakell Crosby Rust
    Bunting Malkin Mcgroarty
    Glass Hayes OConnor
    Acciari Eller Lizotte

    Where on Jets
    He wouldn't be on
    1st line Connor Scheifele Villardi
    2nd line Ehlers Lambert Perfetti
    3rd line Appleton Lowry Neidereitter
Even 4th line I don't think Mcgroarty could have made
    Chibrikov Namestnikov Iafallo/Barron

Next 2 years are crucial for wpg the core is aging and Yager,Lambert,Salmonsson,Milic,Heinola,Lucius,Chibrikov will be counted on in bigger roles/next core as Scheifele,Lowry,Morrissey age. It be nice if winnipeg besides Heinola/Salmonsson could add a WHL/Canadian young Dman like a Schneider,Mataychuk,Byram,or next year's draft.
