    I’m curious where Gritsyuk would land on this pyramid. I know he’s on the cusp of the 5 year cut off, but he seems like he’s got real potential.

    I'm really high on Vilén. Moves the puck really well and had really good metrics in his first AHL season. Was briefly in the ECHL after an injury and put up like 2 points per game.

    Silayev-Casey 2nd pair behind a Luke-Nemec top pair is going to go so hard. They perfectly cover each others potential weaknesses. I don't see how Dougie can possibly be on the team beyond 25-26. Love the guy and think he's great and still will be really good then but paying 3D 8+ million when they're going to be cannibalizing each others PP time as well just isn't going to be a smart move. Moving Dougie and having Casey take his responsibilities at a far cheaper cost will be big. Will Casey be Dougie? No probably not but Dougie's not going to be 9x better like his cap hit would be over Casey for 26-27
