Good game oil. The real score was 0-0, because there were no injuries lol. Been a scary preseason.
Another season upcoming and this Canucks fan is looking forward to some great hockey from both of our teams.
Didn’t think stecher looked very good, J. Skinner has some work to do seems very uncomfortable with Drai rn. Arvidson is looking great. They might get off to a slow start but it won’t matter much they will get better as time goes on
Obviously happy to get the win…but Austin I'm curious as a Canucks fan is there any concern in Edmonton over the Oilers? I know it's preseason but from what I've seen they've looked a bit disinterested and/or unfocused. Obviously they have the talent to turn it on but I can't help wondering if it might be an indication of another slow start this year.
Oilers getting cooked in the pre season
Like you said, it’s preseason. In past years, we’ve dominated it before having a bad regular season, and that includes last year before we got off to that terrible start. So for now, I’m not going to worry. I’m fine with losing preseason games if it means avoiding injuries and conserving energy for meaningful games. I’ll start worrying if the poor play continues in the regular season. See you on Wednesday, Austin!! A new season’s upon us, LET’S GO OILERS!!!
“The canucks system is suffocating” at some point in the third, they showed mcdavid stepping back into the bench after a shift, I’m not lip reader, but it looked like he said to somebody “I can’t breath out there!” So “suffocating” might be the best description.
Other than a few instances where it looked like the Canucks were playing with rubber sticks and wooden pucks, they looked pretty good for not playing really any of their top players as of yet.
But there looks to be some bad blood between these teams already.
Stecher was the best
Not to sure what game you watch🤷♂️
Cup or bust??? Ha ha, give it up, they are not true contenders, too many passengers and the useless nurse, – 6 against the kracken. I'd rather root for Boston. 😅😂
Thankfully they still got 82 games to figure out how to play some defense.
as a canucks fan, i hope our teams hate each other. want some good rivalry
