  1. What’s up man, last year I was really hard on the coaching staff and Fitz, just have to say Fitz did a great job he got the best coach for NJ in Keefe, and secondly he did a great job this summer not over paying Mercer, building the defense and the grit, I can’t wait to see they boys come home with this momentum from two big wins

  2. I agree, solid all the way around. The new guys contributing makes me very hopeful. I’ve wondered for a long time why we were so hopeful last year, losing experience and size on defense, starting rookies (and Bahl) and not having McLeod, Wood and Sharangovich. We have finally replaced them.

  3. The team looks like it could be top 5 in goals for and goals against. Fitz has built from the goal line out with a top six that can be the envy of most teams in the NHL.

  4. Looked good all the way around. Keefe might have a really tough decision when Pesce and Hughes come back

  5. Not a single complaint about anything so far. What a difference a year makes. I hope they keep it going.

  6. Solid games for NJD. Good start. Goalies both looked like we have a chance now. Ironic the team was so stacked and out of money that they let Labanc go after 6 preseason goals including a hat trick. I forgot Michael McLeod's brother is on the Sabres when I first hear the name I had to check the rosters. lol

  7. I paid a lot of attention to Cotter during Vegas’ Cup run. I was pretty happy about that pick-up, and I think people are going to see why real fast.

  8. Also, I think not challenging that goal was the right call. Maybe it gets overturned. Maybe it doesn’t and puts NJ on the PK. Maybe they go down 2, or get tired out playing short. I think what Keefe did showed the confidence that Allen could hold the fort and the boys could get that 1 goal back, and I think it was a good call.
