    The Trouba hit was clean!! Let's not take the physicality out of the game. What was handled correct was the extra penalty for going after Trouba.

    Mancini constantly impresses, some of his passes and the way he clears the defensive zone, and his willingness to SHOOT THE PUCK!!!!!
    As for Jones the real question is why is a 80 percent at best Lindgren back in the lineup up with a full face shield? Let him get 100 percent before you sit Jones. 🙄

    I imagine Mancini is playing more than Jones because he will be sent back to Hartford? Any other of the healthy scratch players would have to go through waivers. Also if he plays less than 10 games, he's still eligible as a entry level player again next year?

    Trouba isn’t gettin disciplined that hit was clean people really forget Jacob trouba hits like a truck espn already updated it and said no action will be taken so as I said he’s gonna hit like a stone wall 😂😂😂😂😂

    In regards to the Trouba hit, this is what happens when the NHL becomes all speed and skill and no tenacity, grit or violent edge. These kids aren't taught to take and receive hits and maintain awareness when carrying the puck or handling it. They skate around admiring their passes and stick-handling and then get creamed. It's not the checking/hitting players responsibility to let you look up first. If you are playing the puck most often you are eligible to be checked. Act accordingly. Kronwall used to do this all the time defensively and everyone saw it coming and would literally just dump the puck to avoid it. Now players just look down or keep skating as if they have impunity and then predictably so get lit up.

    What a brutal play by Lindgren to let up that goal. I don't see how that can be glossed over as being rusty. What he forgot how to play hockey in 4 weeks.

    Clean hit, lined up perfect, dead center of chest. It was made worse when his head bounced off the ice, probably would have got right back up if it didnt.

    Also, keep your head up and when its 1 on 3 dump the puck, what are you trying to do?

    Spilling blood and taking a physical beating doesn't make a good defenseman. Being gritty doesn't necessarily make you a good defenseman. Lindgren is a bad defenseman. The record is not relevant, most of it is from seasons when he was better and before we had better options.
