1. Yes. Totally agree: boring game, as they go.

Korpisalo is a surprise. He has exceeded what I expected. My guess is, having a strong D in front is helping him. Pasta is definitely in his head on "The Shot!"
PP2 is in a better place, since, PP1 is clearly trying to get the puck to Pasta, for the one timer. Not only do we know, and the announcers know, but there's 31 other teams who know it's coming. It's painfully predictable. PAINFULLY. I am thrilled the B's are shooting more. AND being slightly less passive. They are being a tiny bit more aggressive.

it's been decades??? since the B's have had 2 games in a row.

  2. Another "sloppy second period" eh? I was going to make a Sean Avery joke but I'm on my wife's Youtube & she wants to keep it PG.

  3. Don't know about anybody else out there but Korpisalo is my
#1 goalie so far this season.
    Jeremy who?
    Go BRUINS.

  4. So far so good from the Sacco led Bruins
Seems like more shots , but more goals need to follow.
Not a lot of “High Danger Chances”
to use a phrase from the boys on TNT 🤔

  5. I think Oesterle will give the coaches some tough decisions once Lindholm returns. He has played well.
Our powerplay is garbage. Not sure if that's just because Pastrnak is in some funk but it's been garbage since midway through last season.
Imagine if our powerplay was even middle of the road instead of dead last? They fumble around so much? It's truly dragging this team down it's so horrible.

  6. It's funny how many people thought Pasta tripped DeBrincat. Even when the play was occurring in real time you could see that DeBrincat lost an edge and was grabbing Pasta's stick on the way down. I don't think he was necessarily trying to embellish a trip, but Detroit definitely was embellishing a bunch during last night's game…

  7. Korpi has been solid. PP1 is just terrible. They need to change the personel there.

  8. Ah, they beat the Habs. Yes, yes, I know that wasn’t last nights game. I just love saying it….

Agree it was a no-pulse game to watch. I did like that Pasta hustle and served out that OT pass with so much precision when he is struggling with goals (ie. lots of pressure to shoot and score but he saw Zacha had the better play – like a pro). He’ll be back.

  9. the darinkcat "penalty" reminded me of kovalev faking injury and the bruins scored.

  10. So, it looks like the coaching change was the right move. I don’t know why it works, but it always seems to work. I think, though that their being booed off the ice at home several times probably better explains the pick-up in the B’s compete level. I think that in this era coaches tend not to be blunt enough in letting the players know when they’re underperforming. They have a tendency to be far too diplomatic and concerned about not disrespecting anybody. The fans, whether in Hockey Town or in Boston, have no patience for that. And the B’s fans have been sending the message loud and clear…basically: ‘you’re playing like trash, and if you don’t tighten the f- – k up, we’re gonna’ stop showing up. And then you won’t have to worry about the boobirds, because the building’s gonna’ be real quiet…just like Sunrise’😅. That’s my professional analysis.

  11. Pasta is not moving in his office just standing waiting- I don’t know if he is injured. He doesn’t have any speed or acceleration

  12. I really like your analysis and insights. My only critique on your videos is to edit the press footage. There tends to be a lot of blabber and it takes up 1/4-1/3 of your videos. I'm not here to hear their comments in full, I'm here because you're really doing a great job breaking it down and being realistic.

  13. Zadorov has the POTENTIAL to be a monster d-man if he gets his head on straight. There were a lot of “fortunately” moments last night when the team held up and didn’t give up any goals because he was in the box yet again. I think he needs mentoring from a guy like Chara to clean up his act. He can play hockey, but he lets the game play him far too often. Leading the league in penalties will be a death sentence to a playoff run. Also, and I know it’s only been 6 games, but I think Joe is trying to make his case to remove the interim part from his job title. I think it’s a possibility worth exploring.
