  1. Celebrini is going to be a problem. People don't realize how good he is. Possibly better than Bedard. He has the complete package plus a high motor.

  2. The Sharks have their franchise player already playing in Celebrini whereas the Habs are waiting the arrival of Demidov

  3. I've been a Habs fan for over 50 years. I have never seen this entire organization in such a horrible state from the inside out. They couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag before the rebuild. Having said that, they are rebuilding from the very top to the bottom, left to right and inside out. That does take a long time. I see the Sharks as a more of a minor rebuild that involves mainly the players and not the staff so much. Montreal is rebuilding an organization. That is why they are incredibly frustrating to watch. I find it increasingly difficult to be patient when I watch them. Patience for everyone is wearing very thin.

  4. The sharks have been bad for longer though. Haven't made the playoffs in 5 years. I don't really see why this is surprising. It's also not like the sharks are setting the world on fire. They are 4 points up on the Habs, but have played 3 more games.

  5. The HABS rebuild would probably go a little quicker if not for the constant biased officiating against them from the Bettman zebras IMO.

Not to mention Primeau. Might as well play with an empty net.

  6. Dach is just dog crap no idea why they even tried him on the first after the crap games he dropped…

  7. Habs and Sharks are pretty close to the bottom of the league. Sharks also started their rebuild a year or 2 earlier than us. They also have their 2 last #1 draft picks playing in the NHL, whereas the Habs have neither. I would expect Demidov and Reinbacher to both be playing in the NHL next season (Reinbacher might need to time in the AHL). Im actually hoping Habs end up bottom 3 this season, and pick up an Elite future 1a/1b Center. We missed out 2 yrs ago on Bedard/Fanitill/Carlsson, which was very disappointing.

  8. Let's ask this same question next season once Demidov and (a healthy) Reinbacher are here. It is too bad we didn't trade for Askarov though

  9. The Only person that demidov approved off in mtl is Lane hutson. Demidov knows game. And he cant see any talent in mtl besides Lane Hutson. Thats concerning

  10. yes, the sharks have surpassed the habs in terms of rebuild simply due to the fact that they have celebrini who in my opinion is a better overall player than bedard

  11. The sharks are 100x the team les crapnadiens are or will ever be again. Them sausage sweater wearing rejects should just fold up and move south of the boarder so buttman can find a cup for them to win

  12. I agree that Sharks are ahead of Habs in the rebuild – but there is a caveat: Habs have much much higher potential than any other team in the NHL.

Here are few recommendetions as someone who is unqualified in Hockey – I dont even know how to skate on ice:
    1. They need to adjust their goalkeeper (Primeau – bye)
    2. Dach bye.
    3. What is Newhook doing in the first line? he deserves to be on 3rd or 4th line or bye.
    4. Slafkovsky is still sleeping – wake up dude, get some energy.
    5. MSL – your players are playing unorganized system after 20 something games – that is not players fault. The team has 4 fastest players in the NHL(based on dailyhive) and he is not even utilizing those potentials.

  13. The San Jose Sharks have the better prospect pool. Period. We've been bad for 5 years. How long has Montreal been mediocre??

  14. Seriously?? Lego, first video I have to disagree. The sharks are where the Habs were last year. The single biggest issue the Habs face this year is that there is absolutely ZERO system in place. Down to MSL.He will not be a NHL coach for very long. He has passion in bundles and knows how to instill confidence in young talent, but zero knowledge of implementing a real winning system.
Will everyone get off Dach's back. He was gone for an entire year.. He may only begin to find his game towards the end of the year., if ever. Until then play him on the 3rd or 4thline and let him find himself. He is worth ZERO on the trade block right now, so its not worth talking about him..Yes,Primeau should have been demoted à long time ago..

  15. The reason why SJ is ahead of the sharks in their rebuild is 1. They got massive draft luck…the fact that they got the 1st OA during this specific season was massive. Celebrini is the closest any player will get to Sydney Crosby, AND they got Handed Sam Dickinson on a silver platter….that is your #1 center and your #1 Defense right there. Then, they got given Askarov…like litterally given….They were also able to sign players….because players would rather play next to the ocean on a sandy beach than in the frozen hell that is Montreal during winter. They also started with a much better roster to trade away than montreal did (Thank you Bergevin). Erik Karlsson, Timo Meier, Thomas Hertl all fetched 1st round picks (Dickinson, Musty and Edstrom+2025 1st round) and more….Montreal had to be extra creative to get those where they could…and when they did they got the worst possible luck (Florida making the playoffs because Pittsburg choked against the 2 worst teams in the league, then making it to the cup because Boston and Toronto sucks). I will say that drafting Mesar instead of Lambert or Kulich is still baffling, but otherwise, the drafting has been sound.

Overall, SJ's rebuild was easier since they did not have nearly as many bad contract and could actually trade players, they got lucky on the year they won the lottery, not because Slaf is not a great prospect, but because Celebrini is special AND they have an easier time signing players…so yeah, they are ahead, but started with a better base.

  16. Your forgetting Celebrini is in the lineup while we had no choice to wait for Demidovs arrival until his contract is up in Russia! Also Laine got hurt as well as Reinbacher! They aren’t ahead lol! Montreal was just voted top under 24 core 4 yup number 1 !! Give it time before yous jump the gun lol! My gawd yous are 4 or 5 points ahead and now suddenly ahead in the rebuild! Slow er down a little lol 😂

  17. How about you bullies wake up and stop crushing Slafkovsky……very young player he has size and talent…..20 yrs old come on guys….

  18. This video makes zero sense sorry Lego, when Mtl had first overall pick there was no amazing top tier talent, it’s not they made a huge mistake taken Slaf, it’s not like Shane Wright is setting the league ablaze, ultimately they might have taken the best 2 players in the draft with Slaf and Hutson minus Cooley.

  19. If the Habs had picked Mitchkov instead of Reinbacker, this video wouldn't be necessary..

  20. Some said that Montréal First line Caufield – Suzuki – Slafkovskỳ/Dach is MTL future #1 line , it's a good line sure but it's more the future #2 line in Montréal not the #1 line.
