    A doctor who covers sports injuries on YouTube looked at Holloway’s injury. Based on where it hit its highly likely he either got a “Stinger” which is basically a hit to a nerve cluster, very unpleasant, or, pressure in the area around the artery there can lead the body to think you have high blood pressure, causing the blood vessels to open up. This lowers your blood pressure, and is a delayed reaction, which would explain why he was able to finish his shift with minimal issues. It’s very temporary and isn’t serious unless it’s a severe example. He said the only real risk is if the artery got damaged. So long as that didn’t happen, he should be fine.
