I think KD is in over his head here. He’s surrounded himself with very little experience. And he never played at this level either. I would let the year play out and clean out the front office. Gotta get experience and some grey hair in the front office.

The last thing the Hawks need is Trevor Zegras! We need some bigger tougher forwards who can storm the net. We do NOT need a little tiny underperforming forward who can pass the puck around the perimiter and kill off Blackhawks power plays. We need strength and size!

I’ve never seen a coach show less passion behind the bench than Richardson. Almost no emotion at all in fact. I remember Q up on the boards screaming at the refs and even yelling at his own players. That gives the team a jolt. Nice guy but just wasn’t getting the job done.
Another newbie will be hired and the Hawks will miss the playoffs but the owners will bathe in the dollars they will save.
