  1. It reminds me of how in baseball, you can push a runner off a base while he’s trying to steal with your glove during the tag so it’s up to the runner or in this case the goalie to have the strength to hold his leg into position.
The goalie’s reaction of disappointment in himself was definitely at least in part how the refs decided the goal was good!

  2. the puck was lose, he was allowed to go for another shot, it was a fair goal, quit wining calgary

  3. Man… Did this officiating group mail it in or something? Missed calls on both sides… Ignoring Huska with no explanation after the OT goal. Absolute donkeys!!!

  4. Puck doesnt go in if pad isn’t hit. Parayko hit the puck first yes. But even that gets saved until the pad is pushed in

  5. It was a loose puck that he made a play on, with his stick . He didnt make contact with his body at all . Good goal

  6. Rule 69.7 which states, in part, that “in a rebound situation, or where a goalkeeper and attacking player(s) are simultaneously attempting to play a LOOSE puck, whether inside or outside the crease, INCIDENTAL contact will be permitted, and any goal that is scored as a result thereof will be allowed.”

  7. Lol, the announcer saying "Calgary did everything but finish this one off" reminds me of Frank Thomas saying "The Mets have nothing to hold their heads down about, except the fact that they didn't play well and gave away this World Series."

  8. I think the broadcasts didn’t help with the controversy. Blues broadcast was sure that it was a goal because it was a loose puck, Calgary broadcast was adamant it was not because the pad was pushed. I can understand Flames fans being mad, but it looks like the only thing that mattered was whether Vladar had control of the puck. And there were a few shots that showed the puck was just sitting there
